I had to arbitrate fees and only received a portion of what I asked for. However, I did receive an award and when it came time to pay he refused to do so. I sent a demand letter, gave him 100 days to pay as prescribed by the rules. Once he did not pay then the State Arbitration Award group in San Francisco requested he pay me. After they contacted him and told him he would be subject to suspension of license to practice if did pay, he then paid. My award in arbitration was in excess of $5,000. He also stated in his response in our arbitration process in his own words to my employer that I was not married. He even included copies of records searches of public records. My marriage will not be found because we have a Confidential Marriage. I will say when dealing with my employer I got some very strange looks when I mentioned my spouse. Once I saw what he wrote in his own words I understood why the very strange looks from high level management with my employer.

Mr carbone was hired to represent in in an employment matter. He completely misinformed me of what could be done in my paticular situaion. I have since hired another attorney and have found out how completely my time and money was wasted. I paid him over $14,500 for nothing of any value. He charged me $1,500 for copies of my file when he suddenly quit as my attorney. I would not recommend mr. Carbone for any type of representation. Check the ca bar site he is currently being charged by them on multiple charges including incompetent representing a client. No big surprise there.
