My wife and I wanted to live in Florida. I was able to find a job near where we owned a property in Southern Florida. We used Niren and Associates a legal firm in Toronto (VisaPlace) to assist in getting the documentation together for a TN Visa. Two weeks from the date that I received the employment offer I was at my new job in Florida. It was to my advantage during the interview process to say that I had already been in contact with a legal firm to assist in the Visa Application. Horrible firm! They act so promising and professional once they want to take your money but once you’re in they’re behaviour changes. They give your file over to paralegals to handle you and answer your phone call or emails and the new person has no experience or idea of your case. No concerns, made bunch of mistakes and delays . My Visa was not straight forward with regard to US work location (multiple sites), so Preejo helped clarify.The mock interview assistance was great and the references to US taxation lawyers is a definite benefit. I have approached VisaPlace for my Canada PR Application Reconsideration and this consultant said its possible and can be done. So we believed and paid $1500USD and later once I had sent all documents the senior consultant responds saying this can't be done. I have no idea why I have to pay $1500 USD for the services which were not provided as promised. Seriously this place sucks and I had never had this worst experience anywhere else. I hope the management sees takes these kinds of issues seriously and takes responsible action.

I reached out to Niren and Associates in the fall of 2017 to obtain their assistance in emigrating to the US. This 17 month process ended in January 2019 when my application for a visa was approved.
I was very satisfied with the guidance provided to me by Fadi Minawi, as well as his legal assistants (Sasha and Mariam). Virtually all of our communications were through email and I found they were helpful and responsive.
Given recent changes in U.S. immigration law, it gave me peace-of-mind to have a knowledgeable firm managing my application through the various processes. There is, of course, a cost for obtaining legal representation, but for me, it was money well spent.
If anyone is looking for legal assistance with respect to emigrating to the U.S., I’d recommend this firm with no reservations whatsoever.

This firm is a bunch of money suckers who will misguide you on each step - right from the consulting phase. They would provide incorrect information and suck more money out of your credit card account on file with no authorization!! It’s hard to imagine these folks don’t know their business, but they are liars and cheaters and frauds. There are better law firms out there who would help immigrants in a more ethical manner. My situation is similar to the reviewer below from last September. After paying for my consult, I showed up early but was kept waiting late. The meeting was also terminated early. During the meeting the consultant dodged most of my questions and made it clear they would only be helpful once I committed to paying them for a full review. I sent follow-up questions afterward which went unanswered, and when I contacted the firm again, I still got no response. My request for partial refund was ignored. A very disappointing experience and not the kind of firm I had been led to believe Niren was.

I recently had some questions regarding entering the US; I decided it would be prudent to first consult VisaPlace.
As soon as the "consultation" began, I realized there was a serious conflict of interest. It was clear that the lawyer's only concern was to sell me their "entry package" for a reduced price of 2.5 grand. Not surprisingly, she tried to convince me that my situation was dire, and that their "entry package" would be just the right medicine. She urged me multiple times to Google the lawyer (Fadi Minawi) who would be helping me. Of course, when I eventually googled him out of curiosity, the praises were raving. Now why am I not surprised??
In reality, my situation was a very simple one. By trying to push the "entry package" on me, the lawyer was acting like a surgeon who tries to convince me go through surgery because I caught a cold. In the end, I ignored these "professionals," and I had no problem crossing the border all on my own!

During part our process, I must say that my wife and I weren't particularly impressed with the service we received. To the point of completion, we were asked to deal with three different lawyers. After expressing our concerns the case was then passed to Lubna Hussein. The difference in our experience was like day and night. Lubna turned a potentially gruelling ordeal in to a well oiled machine. Her communication, knowledge and total professionalism are second to none. We have now reached the favourable conclusion of our case and because of the actions and sheer hard work of Lubna Hussein it is indeed a happy day. It might not have been the smoothest journey with Niren and Associates, as our case was handled by more people than I had hoped. But with that being said, they provided us with what we wanted and what we went there for; a successful spousal sponsorship application. I have Niren & Associates as my immigration lawyer to apply for my PR in Canada. They also offered to do a Bridging Open Work Permit (BOWP) for me once I got the 1st stage approval. This turned out to be very important as I found a new job but the employer didn't want to do a Labor Market Opinion for me. But Niren & Associates managed to get me the BOWP so I can start working for the new company. You will have to make an appointment by email if you wanna call and talk to them, but the associate working with me is very fast to respond to my emails. Sometimes they are a little slow to process and prepare your documents and forms but that's probably because they are working with many clients, and I'm OK as long as they do the job right.

Reached out to this office to assist with a complicated sponorship application- the experience started very well, I have to say, but progressively worsened as months went by. Following up with them is difficult given that there was more than one member of the team dealing with my case (had no idea who was doing what). No main point of contact was established- I had to make sure of that myself- which was futile because not once, but twice, did that individual suddenly 'no longer work with Niren and Associates' without any notice to me, the client. Calling and speaking to supervisors did not work either- there seems to be no accountability at all with this team.

Was very useful to have Niren & Associates' experience. In my case the process of getting a green card via an L1 transfer is probably not going to be as easy as it appeared from my own research. The firm was able to give me much more detail on what would be involved and after our conversation suggested an E2 visa as an alternative.
Subsequently I have found out that I may qualify for a National Interest Waiver. I did mention this briefly but the response was that we would need to look at this later. I felt that the firm had far less experience in NAIWs and that may have influenced the advice I got to go for an E2. On the whole though I was happy with the consultation.

Charged exorbitant fees and did the absolute minimum. Any time I tried to contact "my lawyer", I was usually only allowed access to the legal assistant. The document I was applying to the USCIS for, pertaining to U.S. Immigration, was actually approved, but did not arrive. "My lawyer" did nothing to assist me, despite my requests and the aformentioned exorbitant fees I had paid. I later learned, FROM the USCIS itself, that the document I'd been urged to apply for was NOT EVEN NECESSARY as long as I entered the U.S. once a year, even for an hour or two. This law firm sold me an unnecessary service, under false pretences, and did not provide assistance when a snag was hit.

I have experienced the most professional and most efficient immigration services at Niren & Associates. I have used the Niren for my work permit previously and was amazed with the results, and this time with TRV it was no different. I will retain Niren Associates to help me with my PR card and will recommend to all my friends and relatives. Immigrating into the States was a breeze. I had no problems getting the TN visa. It was determined that the visa would expire at the same time as my passport. It was recommended to me to renew the visa when it was necessary.

This lawyer took over 2000 dollars from our firm, failed to help us in obtaining a visa in time and blamed the sponsored candidate for it. They then asked us for more money to "try" something else which we refused. I've worked before without issues with Baker and McKenzie lawyers across the USA, and after this with a recommended lawyer in Canada without issue for the same process. Either they are swamped or incompetent but this is NOT a recommendable professional.

these people didn't have the guts to call me and tell why the visa was denied.got more than $3000 from me but could explain the reason why it was denied. too much for customer service.
