Dave is a tell you like it is attorney which is just what I needed. I got caught up in the emotion of my divorce and Dave helped me to see through the emotion and look at the actual legal options in my case. His grounding in the long run saved me at least tens of thousands of dollars by not wrangling over the emotional issues and legal battles that were not cost effective to try to fight. Bottom line: he got me through my divorce quickly and cost effectively so I could get on living and loving my life again. Dave is passionate about his job and doing it well if that is what you are looking for - then he is your guy. If you need someone to sugar coat the situation and spend thousands of dollars making you feel like you are "right", you should find someone else. He caught issues with my retirement accounts that I would not have thought of and made sure I'm set for the longterm as well

Professional, no non-sense, and extremely knowledgable, I strongly recommend David Schulman especially if children are involved in your divorce. David clearly spelled out my options in my divorce and custody issues and helped me navigate the broken family law system. My ex has addiction and abuse issues, so David's experience and knowledge were critical in protecting myself and my child in a highly contentious case. I went through two other attorneys before finding David. Don't waste your time and money, learn from my experience and go straight to David.

Dave Schulman was found to be dishonest, unprofessional, and totally devoid of a conscience. On the rare occasion he met with my children, he made promises of trips and presents that never materialized.
Speaking with Dave is like talking to a wall. He has NO concern for children or their parents . . . just how much he can charge financially. I, like many others, was forced to file bankruptcy due to monies owed to Dave, therapists he had recommended, and others.
If destroying the lives of many is Dave's optimal goal, he should be commended for doing such a fine job!

My name is Eileen Lasher, Dave Schulman, Esq is my ex husband's attorney. My ex husband is a SDPD Officer. Dave Schulman makes false claims which deliberately delays resolution not only at a great cost to litigants but to the tax payers. Currently our child support case alone has been "kicked around" for 3 years and 4mos. No child support for my children. A 3 hour trial on evasion of service was granted. My ex husband a SDPD Officer evaded service from 2 process servers along with two other uniformed police officers while on duty. The San Diego tax payers are footing the bill for this. I have met with several other litigants who are experiencing the same corruption.
