Kandy Sullivan became minor's counsel for my granddaughter in November 2012. She was supposed to work for the best interest of the child. Instead, she became a pal of the child's father who has been shown to be a probable abuser of the child. She dismissed each piece of evidence against the father as it was presented to her. (She should have at least considered it—for the sake of the child's well-being.) Thus, Kandy became biased from the outset. Kandy met the child and her father once—in November 2012—and the child and her mother once—also in November 2012. She has never met the child alone, and she has never met the child under any condition since November 2012. Kandy agreed to be paid by the County of Los Angeles, then sent bills to the involved parties. Kandy hired a therapist to assess whether the child had indeed been abused, then ordered the therapist to perform therapy with the goal of bringing the child closer to her father. (This is not the goal of therapy!)

Before I hired Miss Sullivan my ex dictated when I would see our kids. Now I have nearly 50% of the time with them. I am one happy dad.

I hired Kandy Sullivan to help me with my seperation and coustody of my kids. That was the worst mistake ever. She did not show up to court when she was supposed to. She pissed off the judge cause the first time she showed up she was not prepaired. I had to constantley call her about my case and would have a hard time getting answers. She charged me over $6000.00 and only went to court twice. what a waste of money and time. The only time she called me was when she wanted her money that she over billed me for. DO NOT HIRE THIS WOMEN or her team of idiot workers!

Quite possibly the worst attorney ever. No follow-through. I had to call about every part of my case. Then charged me for answering my calls...that were not returned! The bill was incorrect. I had to threaten to fire her before she would sit down and review the bill. I identified over $1200 worth of incorrect charges that she agreed to. They are still on the bill over a year later. Agreed to $500 a month payment, is now demanding $1000/month. Never asked for anything I wanted in court; agreed with the ex on everything. Did NOT even complete all follow up matters. Pissed off the judge because she was so incompetent. Do NOT use this attorney, you will regret it.

She is a great attorney. She has a great new staff, and I am able to reach her by just setting up a phone conference with her. She was great in court and it is obvious that she has a wonderful reputation with the Judge. My case was a very difficult custody and property case. I am very happy with her and will refer people to her.

HORRIBLE! She should be disbared!She is my boyfriends current attorney and I have to warn potential CLIENTS look elsewhere. His case has been ongoing for about 2 years and she has gotten NO WHERE!! I got my old attorney for a family law case and it was taken care of in 2 months! She does not keep in touch with her clients, does not communicate and is LAZY!! PLease save your money and find an actual hard working attorney. you will regret it!

Currently has her as my atty, and I am current seeking new counsel. She lacks honesty, fails to communicate with me, and fails to provide me with copies of correspondence and filings associated with my case. I have been at a disadvantage since I acquired her services. I would not recommend her if you are seeking a resolution to child custody issues.
