Click to report rating    11/24/11   1     1     1     1     1   Jim Steinberg did not do his work right and it had to be done again by another lawyer. The fired me as I had run out of money. Now he sued me for work allegedly performed after he fired me. He knew I had another lawyer so why did he continue to work? As far as I know if you terminate a contract there is NO OBLIGATION by either party. I am apparently wrong as a judge fund otherwise. This smacks off collusion between layer and judge doesn't it? If you know of anybody with a similar experience please contact me at marinersd@yah.com RID: 55793
Click to report rating    7/7/11   5     5     5     5     5   God can't break his divorce contracts. He is thorough, honest and is very conservative in his recommendations. Always looks out for the my long term beest intersts. Is very respectful. Does research so as to be certain of his advice. Charges very conservatively. Is not just limited to certain types of legal processes. Can support a client in most legal issues. May start as a divorce lawyer, but can be retained for many other aspects of life as they happen. Click to report rating    12/16/10   2     1     2     1     1   This attorney was hired for a divorce case. When I ran out of money he fired me the client but said he continued to work for me and billed me an additional $5,000 even though he knew I had a new attorney. His work was substandard and I lost money due by having to pay more in support then it should have. The documents he prepared for the Court were wrong and had to be redone by my new attorney. How can an ethical lawyer say he continued to work for me when he fires (terminates) his services for you in writing? I strongly recommend not to hire this attorney for anything! RID: 38525
