I would give her "0" ratings if it were an option. Poorest excuse for a lawyer I've ever seen. I couldn't afford to hire someone else and she knew it. Did absolutely nothing for me and after dragging my case out for over a year--about 6 months longer than it should've been--she couldn't even spell or pronounce my name correctly. She cares about money only and I can assure does NOT care about her clients.

Horrible experience. Lied about what she had filed with court, never returned calls, always late and very lazy. If you want someone to stand outside and smoke on your dollar, she's great. It's not so much that's she's ignorant about law; she just doesn't care.

Horrible waste of my time/money. Does not return phone calls, lies about what she has done for your case, is late, unprofessional, etc. Found out by my exes atty that once he found out she was my lawyer, he said not to worry because Julie is lazy and does nothing to help clients. He was right.

Julie was hired by the court system and was very dishonest. Out of a year of nonsense she met with my children three times. Would never return calls. Very undependable. Lies about everything. Would rather take bribes by the other side than take care of children. My children finally are of age to realize who is right and who is wrong. Julie lied about my children. Every attorney I have spoke with in Marion doesn't have high expectations of Julie either. I was sitting in her office one day and her husband says out of the blue, "Let's see who we can sue today". There were a stack of papers beside his chair and that's what he was referring to. My husband and I looked at each other out of disbelief. Would NEVER recommend Julie Thompson for a GAL.

Horrible representation. Out of 1 1/2 years of being a GAL for my children, only spoke/interviewed them 3 times. Testified against me and my current husband (was not present at current instance, turned against us to be paid off by the opposing client). Dirty attorney, would never recommend Julie for anything; professional or business. Very poor individual.

Represented me horribly--not a good experience. Doesn't return phone calls, late to court, never really knew what was going on with my case and didn't seem to care.

Appears to know the law, but is a horrible communicator. Time management is also an issue.
