I met with several lawyers before I decided to hire Mr. Zukerman. He was the most knowledgeable and informative of the lot and was upfront about the range of legal fees that would be charged for each step of the process. My ex was refusing to consider 50/50 care of our kids. Stuart took her to court and got orders for Joint Custody Joint Guardianship and a 50/50 shared parenting plan. He got a Parenting coordinator appointed so that we wouldn’t have to pay for lawyers going forward every time we had a disagreement over the kids. He had his more junior lawyers (at much lower hourly rates) draft affidavits & court materials & correspondence on my file (which Mr. Zukerman reviewed and edited before being filed or sent out) which saved me thousands in legal fees. I was very happy with Zukerman Law & highly recommend them.

Stuart was full of promises when I hired him , actually I hired another lawyer in there who didn’t stay and I wasn’t given notice he was leaving . This firm is very unorganized they waste tons of money sending paper to the other side . The bills are crazy . I’ve already spent way more than I thought and we are not one step ahead . I’ve taken my file to another lawyer to move my case . He said my file could have easily been settled a year ago . Short version if you don’t have a Ton of time or a ton of money to waste, while you get pawned off on a junior lawyer, and nothing gets done- then don’t go here. Find someone else - even represent yourself . Would recommend this firm to no one .

The individuals at the Surrey office are incompetent. Their negligence and laziness could have resulted in my brother missing his first court appearance and losing custody of his daughter. The courts told us they mailed the letter to Zukerman Law Group with his court date on October 12. On October 27th my brother had to call the firm as he'd not heard anything. Their response? "Oh yeah, I see that we filed your letter and sorry we forgot to tell you but since you didn't actually miss the date, we did nothing wrong" Ridiculous. WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

Honestly I have never had such a bad experience working for someone before. They treat staff like slaves. Constantly making them cry and feel left out. Constantly making them feel they are not worthy. They can’t even take their own files to work they need to be reminded. Then they come back and make it ur issue. They are swearing and always negative about everything. Worst experience ever.

Highly recommend Stuart Zukerman! He made an uncomfortable and awkward time as easy and pain free as possible. I experienced excellent communication, integrity and empathy from the Zukerman Law Group and would not hesitate to use again in the future.

I worked most closely with Meena. She was wise, thorough and patient. Although my divorce was uncontested, it was complicated by the fact that we first had to find my ex. Meena gave me great advice through the whole process. And the kicker was -- when I got this bill it was $200 less than quoted. I've never heard of that happening with a lawyer! I hope I do not need a divorce lawyer again, but if I do, I am headed right back to this firm.

Stuart is an excellent lawyer who helped me and my family through a very difficult case. He and his paralegal Meena were incredibly caring and attentive. They both gave me tips on how to reduce or minimize the legal fees being incurred by their firm. Stuart was very knowledgeable and helped explain the law to me and to adjust my expectations to be realistic rather than encouraging me to spend money on issues that I was unlikely to be successful on. When we went to court Stuart was very well prepared and brilliant in his presentation to the Judge. Listening to the two lawyers argue and the Judge's comments made it clear that Stuart was far more persuasive and we won our application. I later heard that my ex had been billed over $10,000 by his lawyer despite losing while Stuart's fees were exactly in line with his estimated range of 7 to 8 thousand (his bill was $7500 plus tax). It was worth every penny and I have no hesitation in recommending him and his team. J

Stuart was the fourth family lawyer I hired over 8 years of litigation, I wish I found him sooner - he was the most effective and most valuable lawyer I've had. He was excellent in the courtroom and managed to prevent several applications from proceeding through effective letter writing and strategic negotiation. At $350 an hour his services were not cheap but his over 20 years of experience made all the difference in the outcome.

Very knowledgeable and informative. He listened, cared, was passionate in court - my ex said he wished he had hired Stuart instead of his lawyer. Stuart's bill was over two thousand less than my ex paid his lawyer who did a lousy job and lost.
