Ed Attala's website says he deals in Trusts and Real Estate. He is knowledgeable of trusts, but knows little of the current real estate laws, short sales and foreclosure issues brought on by the recession, including the law that excludes assets in litigation passed in 2011. His $275. per hour fee doubles if you retain him, or leave documents with him. He logs hours without much to show for his billed time. Beware. He is looking for hours to bill you. He is very charming. But he is the consummate negative stereo-type of a lawyer. We had to retain the service of another lawyer to answer those real estate questions Ed Attala could not answer. When asked for a receipt of charges for his two hours of service which cost over $1000. he did not provide one. Having used the services of several lawyers in the past, we expected from Mr Attala, honesty, fairness and for him to be knowledgeable of his claimed areas of expertise. We were disappointed.
