My family member was charged with failure to remain at the site of a collision and yet he was not even aware there was a collision. We spoke to one lawyer who wanted to charge us $5000. Fortunately, a friend recommended us to speak to Chady Moustarah. He met with us during his lunch hour on his day in court. He read the police report very carefully and then gave us his professional opinion. Mr. Moustarah's words were "you don't need me for this case". He counselled us how to proceed. A week before the trial date he emailed to see if we had any questions. He also gave us his cell number and welcomed us to text or phone him if we had any concerns. Initially, I was quite intimidated of the legal process for an injury claim however, Mr Moustarah was extremely reassuring when we spoke during our meetings. I was involved in a small traffic accident. I was slightly injured. I visited a few different lawyers and they told me I had no claim. I contacted Mr. Moustarah because I had been contacted by the police due to being investigated. I was very very scared and stressed. My very first meeting with him relieved all of my stress. First of all I would like everyone to know what a gracious and caring man Mr. Moustarah is. I was charged with refusal to blow. When we first sat down I was really nervous and wasn't sure what to expect. He told me to stay calm and then proceeded to explain the laws on both sides of the table, explaining their defense and our defense. He was very confident but also really down to Earth with the situation, which just shows me how much knowledge and tenacity he holds. Extremely easy to get a hold of whenever I needed to come in and talk with him. Before I went to Chady, another lawyer was handling my case and he told me to settle and accept the criminal charge. I got a second opinion from another lawyer and he said a discharge will be very hard to obtain but he will try but he cannot promise anything.
