Does not communicate well. I sat by the phone on 3 different occasions waiting for our Appoinment, each time she never showed. When I asked for a different attorney as I needed someone reliable she responded with childish antics. Don’t waste your money or your time.

When I read the above rating about Ms. Hooper blaming her poor performance on the Judge, it really confirmed all I have seen of this lawyer, myself. She is young, inexperienced, immature, lazy, does not listen to the facts she is told, makes no or very few notes when she meets with a client, does not attempt to gather sufficient facts, does not even know what facts are relevant to gather, asks very few questions, has extremely poor client relations skills, extremely poor legal analysis skills, does no legal research, does not seem to understand her professional obligation to advocate for her client, bills beyond what is fair and reasonable based on the piece of work she is undertaking, and all in all puts no energy or diligence into her work. It is really hard to understand what service she thinks she is providing to clients. She seems to think they are there solely to provide her with an income.

had the pleasure of meeting Chelsea, through a mutual friend and then needed help with some legal paper work. she is amazing go-getter and has a burning desire to help get things done and settled very quickly. I highly recommend her for all your legal needs.

After several consultations with other attorneys I chose Ms. Cooper to rep-resentment me in an eviction case. Quite simply every other lawyer I spoke to told me to move out of the apartment I've been living in for over ten years, They can get me a "better deal" but it would cost me almost $2,000.00. Needles to say I didn't want to move and in my opinion was being harassed by a greedy landlord. So we went to trial, I won, Ms. Cooper's fees were reasonable, she was tenacious, great in the courtroom and a pleasure to work with.

Hired this attorney on the recommendation of another, more skilled atty, for an appearance at trial. Atty make no attempt to prepare to defend potential issues at trial, was unable to clearly articulate her position in front of judge. When confronted with her incompetence, blamed it all on the judge ("Sorry, the judge just didn't want to listen."). She is new, very inexperienced, and was overconfident on her own position instead of even considering other defense strategies. Case was lost and appealable, but due to wasting her time and my money, am unable to afford the ADDITIONAL fees she wants to charge me to fix her mistakes.
