Duke and his team were excellent to deal with. I found Duke very knowledgeable on immigration issues and he guided me through the process of my application for refugee protection. Duke was also hands-on in preparing me for the hearing, and he made out time to review my file with me and to get me prepared for the issues that I would need to address at the hearing. Duke was great to work with. I strongly recommend him for anyone dealing with immigration issues.

I made a refugee application in Canada because i believed I had good grounds to seek protection from the Canadian government. I had so many issues with the Cameroonian authorities but CBSA intervened in my application. Duke was so helpful in identifying the issues with my application. he greatly helped in fixing these issues. He is excellent at what he does. He has extensive knowledge on so many areas. My family and I are so happy for what he did for us.

Duke is an amazing human being and excellent counsel. I hired him a few years ago based on recommendations from a couple of friends and I have never regretted hiring him since. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised. Duke is patient, caring, honest, and an experienced lawyer. I had hired him for property concerns but worked with him on several other matters since. I have recommended him to many of my friends and family and he never disappoint. In fact, my sister fired her lawyer and hired Duke to work on an immigration case that stressed her out for over a year. The result, Duke won her case this summer. My sister is happier, peaceful, and calmer which is opposite to how she spent a year stressing and worrying about her immigration case prior to Duke's win of the case. If you are looking for a trustworthy counsel, then I recommend that you give Duke a chance.

I have just completed my immigration process and got my PR. Mine was very difficult because of the various issues raised by my ex all through the process. I was able to deal with all the issues because of the experience and expertise of Duke.He is a great lawyer.My friend recommended him to me and I am glad I hired him. He is a great lawyer.

Nduko was the worst lawyer I've ever dealt with. He never came to a court case except the last one sent his students that werent verry helpful and never asked me anything about our case agenst child and family services. And he lost our case

I had Nduka for my custody battle years ago. He was great to me and his professionalism was wonderful. I had to contact him for my criminal charges recently and he agreed to represent me again. I had been asked by my first criminal lawyer to plead guilty, but I did not think I should because I was not guilty. Nduka was so good in his preparation for my defence. I got the result that I thought I deserved. My family and are so great to him for his great work. Good man!

We had the pleasure of working with Mr. Ahanonu in late 2016 on a family immigration case. We found that he was very insightful, helpful, and always prepared. We were successful in our application and found that it was mainly due to his strength in this field. We highly recommend him in the field of immigration to any one new to the country as he is knowledgeable of the rules and regulations. IN any area where he was not familiar he was honest and promised to bring himself to date in that area. I was completely satisfied with the work Duke did for me. I wanted to from Edmonton relocate to GP, Alberta with my two children but my ex husband would not agree. I got a job up there, yet my ex and his lawyer said that I should give up custody of my two children. I took them to court and we had it set for trial but the lawyer I had wanted me to cancel my proposed relocation. My employer was ready to allow me finish the court case and join them, which was very good for me. My lawyer quit on me 6 weeks to trial. I had to look for a different lawyer. A previous client of Duke referred me to him. He agreed to take on my case. He did an awesome job! His team was very helpful to me as well and also friendly. He's honest and dedicated and I will always refer my friends to him.

My previous divorce lawyer sent me over to Duke because the opposing lawyer was a bully. I decided to hire Duke after I met with him to discuss his strategy to deal with the style of the opposing lawyer. Hiring him was a great decision, money well spent. He stood up to the bully. The opposing party made a 180 and accepted the proposal that was sent to them previously by my first lawyer. They had said the proposal was worthless. I won the day, because I had Duke on my side. I strongly recommend him for divorce and custody as well as property issues. He's a great lawyer.

Very much dissapointed with his work. He has no knowledge of what he is doing. Our property get Lean after 2 years because of his irresponsibility, lack of knowledge and incomplete paper work he has done. On calling he was first not willing to listen or understand and was very rude. We pay 2 days rent for the house which we already bought because of him, although we were not desperate in possesion infact we were in our previous residency for the 2 days we payed rent for. Further when we get possession of house the drive way was blocked with snow which seems like that snow was shoveled for months. We ask him to tAlk to Seller lawyer and he was reluctant ro help us. We end up paying comany to shoveled snow. He confirm us on phone that he will refund the penality last year in november 2016 but till to date he has'nt. We have phone several time to his office but no result. Seems like his secertary is also tired of him. We pay thousands of money to him but he is a poor laywer.

Duke is an excellent lawyer. I hired him on the recommendation of my mother's friend. He had assisted my mon's friend with her divorce. He advocated my position so strongly that I knew I was in good hands. He refused to make any commitment regarding the outcome. I got the spousal support that I thought I deserved, though my previous lawyer had said that I did not have a chance. I strongly recommend Duke to anyone who wants a good and strong divorce lawyer.

I have consulted Nduka in two different occasion. .and he proved to me that he knows his job..one was when I filled for sponsorship of wife..he wenT through all my application and fixed some errors..it went fine with immigration canada and my wife was approved. Another one was an accident claim ..he did a good job for me.. I will highly recommend him

I got bounced around for a bit and none of the family lawyers I consulted would agree to take my case, as it seemed too complex, though I was willing to pay. I contacted Duke's office, but I could not get an appointment as early as I had wanted. I shopped around for more lawyers and got referred to Duke by 2 other lawyers I had spoken with. Therefore, I waited for my time to meet him. It was a good decision, as he showed a great understanding of the issues and seemed really competent. I hired him and I was completely satisfied with the outcome of my case. I will recommend him anytime.

We were introduced to duke through Legal Aid. He helped us on my parents refugee case and brought our attention to the most important points on their case. We did concentrate on what he asked us to and followed his instructions. Later we attended the hearing along with him and he walked us through the process and supported us through out the process of hearing but bringing up important questions which led to approval of our case. Wanted to thank him here one last time for his endeavors and I wish him good luck with his career.

Mr. Ahanonu helped me get Children Services out of my life. They had come to control how I should raise my children just because my ex, who happens to be their friend, lost in the custody battle. He was a strong advocate which I believed I needed at the point and he was very professional. I have all my children home for the holidays and cherish the wonderful job my lawyer did for me. I hired this lawyer for my husband's admissibility hearing. I got bounced around for a bit before an mmigration consultant recommended Mr. Ahanonu to me. It was hard to see him at the begining, but he was awesome when we finally started moving on the case. He seemed very knowledgeable and competent. And, he was also excellent in his preparation with me and my husband. Prior to the hearing, my friends who met him told me they were all satisfied with his commitment to my case. It was no surprise that we won at the hearing. He is an excellent lawyer.

This lawyer is a life saver. I say so because he saved me from a real mess. I had started an application for spousal sponsorship which I thought was simple. However, everything got messed up by me and the immigration consultant that I hired. Knowing that a huge mess had been created, the consultant asked me to speak to Mr. Ahanonu for assistance. Mr. Ahanonu took his time to address all the issues in my application. Citizenship and Immigration Canada was satisfied with the amendments and they called my husband to bring his passport. My husband got his visa. My husband will be joining me this fall . All thanks to the great work done by my lawyer.

I cannot recommend this lawyer highly enough. A friend had seen him in court while he was representing someone else and recommended that I use him for my matter. He was so pleasant from the beginning and his assistant was on top of things all through the time my matter lasted. I became hopeful after my first meeting with him and I was not disappointed. I was involved in a divorce battle for a long time. My ex's lawyer was way too aggressive. I had to change lawyers twice but none of them could match my ex's lawyer. A friend recommended this lawyer to me. He asked to review the file first before deciding whether to take it or not. He gave me a quote after the review which was really pricey, but I went with my gut feeling. I'm happy I hired him. He gave me the voice that I lacked and fought until the end. I got the orders I wanted, saved the money that I brought into the marriage. I have hired him again for the purchase of my real estate. Will continue to recommend him to my family and friends who may need legal services.

Excellent service and wonderful personality. A friend strongly recommended this lawyer for my immigration appeal after Immigration Canada refused my application to sponsor my spouse to remain in Canada with me. He was respectful and compassionate to me and my spouse,though we were not on our best behavour because of the stress we were going through.I've already recommended him to a friend whose sponsorship applcation was also denied. A friend had recommended Mr. Ahanonu as the person to help me with my complicated and highly conflicted family situation. On my first meeting with the lawyer, he presented me with a picture of what we might get and explained the steps we were to take to get there. He assured me that he would do his best to get me a good result, but he never guaranteed anything. I decided to retain him and I have no regrets for doing that. The matter is over and I'm back in my children's lives. I will spend Christmas with them. The lawyer was prompt in his communication with me and he's very knowledgeable and competent. I hired this lawyer for my divorce and custody of my children. He did a wonderful job in preparing for the trial and at the trial itself. I got custody of my children. He also dug out all the money my ex was trying to hide. I was able to get what was due to me from broken marriage. I will ever be grateful to him for the wonderful job he did for me and my children.
