After I got a DUI last summer I called multiple lawyers. Rory was the only one who asked How I was doing, so choosing him for my case was easy. He always treated me like a person first rather than a paycheque or a case file. Although speaking with him was usually brief he always made himself available to chat if I had questions. My first experience with Rory and Sharline and what can I say. I am glad my call when to Rory and he answered and assured me that he will be in touch and will help me out. He answered right away at 930 at night and was there for me via answer or text at anytime. I got more than favourable outcome and got all my charges withdrawn. He really stands by your side to help you out. I was devastated when I got charged and Rory is the lawyer to call. He won’t judge you and will make you feel like family fighting for you.

I heard great things about Mr. Rory Ziv prior to meeting him. I then met him by chance at a trial fighting hard for his client. Shortly thereafter, I performed interpreting for him and his clients several times and everything I heard about him was confirmed. I was touched by his respectful and patient personality; the way he pays attention to the finer details and listens with care to his clients and to all parties involved in the legal case with calmness and respect, and sometimes he becomes fierce when the situation demands the interest of his clients because he wants to achieve justice in a short time. A very big win for me. I spoke to 2 different lawyers before I decided to go with Rory, and I’m very glad I did. The first two said that they could get me a reduced sentence with a lesser charge based on the evidence. Rory went above and beyond and used the law to my advantage. So I ended up getting myself in a sticky situation. When life hammered down on me and push came to shove, I made a bad decision in the heat of the moment which left me angry, confused and very worried. I had no idea what I was going to do. I explored a bunch of different avenues which led me to a dead end with a very bad outcome. I made a quick phone call to Rory Ziv and explained my situation. Within a short time after the call, we were in a court room together for less than 5 minutes and all the sudden what I was charged with was the crowns fault and not mine anymore. I highly recommend Ziv law group and God forbid, if I ever do have any more problems, I know who I can turn too for help.

Rory REALLY helped my husband get out of a very tricky situation. He is very intelligent and we felt comfortable talking to him and not at all judged by the false allegations made against my husband. I noticed that sometimes I had to text him a couple of times if I wanted to speak to him right away as he is often busy, but when we connected he was always attentive and was always co side rate of my emotional state during a very stressful time in our lives. Be careful with this lawyer. Retainer or nothing poor communication and only his way or the highway. Had next to no communication on a case 6 months away and only wanted ALL funds up front. My experience other lawyer work with you and not against you. Ask questions and don’t let his schedule get in the way of what you are hiring him for.

DO NOT HIRE THIS LAYER. he wants to make plea deal with the prosecutor, as he does not want to work hard in your case, he wants a simple outcome for HIM, not for you. he asked me for $50.000 to represent me knowing I have money.He seems to be on the money he confiscates from his clients in in a form of "legal fees", rather then prove himself as being above average lawyers to demand his fees. TAKE YOUR RUNNING SHOWS and run away from him. there are plenty of lawyers. also, while meeting with me he continuously talked over his cell phone with family, total disrespect for the time of the client, showing distractions , instead of focusing on what the client talked.

Had to fire this lawyer. He was not willing to negotiate and would take anything the crown offered. Communication was very poor, was sent a letter saying i had to appear when i didn't! Would never trust this guy to represent me. Should have known when i first stepped into his office, files lying around and everything was a mess. Shop around and do not waste your time here.
