Wife sent reg renewal ck 3wks before xpiry but did not get back until after. Noted this on dashboard along with NYC Disability Parking Permit. When received put on car, but can't do it if govt sent you nothing. Irrelevant to this ALJ who could have verified. Just a collection agent, should not retain his law license. Just needs his $60 hourly fee.

Does not even consider any supporting documentation of how the city failed to properly put the correct license plate into their system, which created the citation. There was never any infraction but his inability to read supporting documentation shows how crooked of an attorney they are.

I filed a complaint against ALJ Mitchell Parnes with the Chief ALJ at the NYC Department of Finance, because I was sure that Mitchell Parnes automatically assigned a “guilty” verdict without even looking at the evidence. Such misconduct greatly undermines the integrity of the appeals process. Based on the clear photo evidence, provided by the city, I strongly believe that it is highly probable that ALJ Mitchell Parnes systemically assigns “guilty” dispositions without even looking at the actual evidence, because nobody can be that incompetent and fail to see the obvious. My arguments were based on the two photos provided to me by the city as evidence of red light violation. I downloaded the two photos provided by the city and it was obvious that I was not crossing on red light and that the city camera system made a mistake. You can file a complaint against Mitchell Parnes, or another ALJ at: https://www.nyc.gov/site/ajc/rules-of...

Mitchell Parnes is working as an ALJ for the city, responding to parking ticket disputes. As an attorney, reading comprehension and reasoning skills are paramount. Mitchell was too illiterate to understand the evidence submitted, including two images of parkNYC app receipts. He ruled the license plate on the receipt did not match the license on the ticket, despite being exactly the same and only 4 letters long. Have to go through an appeals process now because of this incompetent individual.

I’m a student traveling into NYC for my clinical rotations and submitted valid paperwork to have my parking ticket thrown away. I did the online hearing as COVID-19 is still an issue. Mitchell is now working for the city, as he was the administrative law judge for my ticket and basically said my issue was an invalid reasoning. I’m a student in a medical program and during these hard times, you’d think that these people have some compassion but they don’t. You go Mitchell and generate that $$ for the city and hurt the guy going to school to better his life.

My check marks says it all. He is thorough, sees things to the end. Is always mindful of the clients feelings. He is compationate but will not be detered in his quest for all that can be done to obtain the best results. He is the #1 lawyer in my opinion.
