This attorney served as GAL in my case. After being hired, she would not meet with me, talk via phone and barely responded to any emails. She never came to our houses and seems mainly concerned with putting up a facade in front of the judge that she worked hard on the care when in actuality, children she was supposed to protect were a last priority. Do yourself a big favor if you care about getting any real help for your children: Avoid this GAL... The sad thing is that she knew the children were in danger, but did absolutely nothing to help even though she had the knowledge of the system if she deemed it worth her while to help. It would be karma if her children were subjected to the abuse which she allows to happen to other people’s children. She was only concerned with taking the easy way out and getting done with our case— not helping children. And the only time we heard from her was for her to ask for more money and threaten legal action when they failed to send out a bill.

Belinda was a very patient and straight forward lawyer, she understood my concerns and was willing to take a risk on my case. She presents a very strategic approach. She is always upfront on what needs to be done, or what can be done. She is pragmatic,aggressive and no nonsense kind of lawyer with tremendous experience! As a father i needed an aggressive attorney and Belinda was everything i needed and more!

What should have been a straight forward divorce became a three plus year high conflict disaster due to my exes mental issues. Belinda was my third attorney and my saving grace. She came into a very complex situation and navigated it brilliantly. She is one of the few attorneys with an actual strategic approach rather than a paper churning fee philosophy. She is pragmatic,aggressive and no nonsense with tremendous experience and solid reputation among her peers. Works with the children's best interest in mind and maintains a integrity at all times. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

When I hired Belinda Lazzara as a GAL I was extremely hopeful. It didn't take me or others long to realize that she is unethical and has no scruples. She has no difficulty lying to your face or in the written form if it covers up her actions. Her main goal is to look good and she has no trouble controlling the situation to get her desired result. Do yourself a big favor and don't give this attorney/GAL a second thought. The best decision you will ever make is to NOT hire her.

She ignored my concerns over my two pre-teen daughters being left alone with a man acting as a nanny for six months (John Wayne Daniels of St Pete) who had been arrested 21 times on varying charges like battery, sexual assault and false imprisonment, resulting in them being sent to a therapeutic boarding school in North Carolina called Ashville academy for girls for six months to sort out their troubles at a cost of tens of thousands of dollars. This She did as the GAL Please keep your children away from this monster of a woman

After this attorney was hired she kept me waiting and rescheduled several times within a six month period. She did the same thing with witness on the case. While I, as well as others tried to accommodate her many schedule changes, she refused to schedule any phone conferences after hours because they intruded in her personal life. There was no flexibility on her behalf. Her reports during and at finalization had many inaccuracies that appeared to have been made to cover her lack of follow through. She ventured out of her realm of education with findings that were laughable. There were also three occasions that she clearly misrepresented herself to cover her actions or lack of. While my case had a favorable outcome I would not hire again nor recommend her to anyone.

I feel like this lawyer took sides in a case where she was suppose to be neutral. With that being said a wrong ruling has extended the out come and we had to endure more fee's and a horrible outcome. If she did her job correctly and reviewed the entire case than things could have been better for everyone. Absolutely awful and disgraceful.
