Lauren Speers is a hard working upstanding citizen, dedicated to her clients' truths and rights constituted by the Canadian government. Lauren is highly sophisticated in court jargon/lingo. Her astounding record of over 30+ yrs as a lawyer and persistent accountability shows us all of how dedicated and affectionate Ms. Lauren Speers is towards her clients and her duties. I have had many conversations via email as Lauren looks out for the clients best interest as she guides you in saving your money for actual court or real letters of concern not wasting the clients time and money because they don't understand the way law works. Lauren is highly sophisticated and an excellent judge of character. Lauren is the most unprofessional lawyer I have ever met. Beyond the fact that she showed up to court late and disorganized, she also didn't file a brief. I wouldn't hire this lawyer if she were the last person in the world !

I'm sorry, but she's a traaaassssh lawyer. Doesn't communicate, claims she is "busy", doesn't return calls/emails, lies to clients about getting things done.... It's almost enough to say "well, that's the point?" Tired of her nonchalant attitude, poor punctuality and attendance and lack of communication/respect for clients.

Buyer beware seems to care about your situation and claims she’s different than all the rest. Unprofessional can’t describe my experience with her. Never returned calls and explained that she was too busy and it would cost to talk or better yet it’s not up to her efforts anymore it’s up to the system she gets you and your family into. I tried understanding from her point of view however she’s extremely belittled me even though I have compassion for her she really needs to find smtg else to do to support herself. Sadly her efforts contribute to the already messed up family “justice” process. Keep your emotional currency and resources for someone that will actually follow thru on their commitment to your family matter.

This lawyer is highly unprofessional in her looks and in her work ethics. If you’re unfortunate enough to be on the counter party be aware that she’ll get in your face with an unprofessional attitude and lie bold faced to the duty council and judges claiming you’ve agreed to things if you have not. Also be sure to double check any papers legal or otherwise when on the counter party, as she again will attempt to say you’ve agreed to things you have not. She acts like a child, doesn’t know her law, and I wouldn’t recommend her to anyone.

Lauren is the whole package: knowledgeable, experienced, excellent verbal and written communication skills. Beside her amazing technical skills, Lauren is a pleasure to deal with. Lauren will work very hard to get you a fair deal, and she will explain to you the rationale and legal background on why what she is asking is on the best interest of all parties. She is a strong advocate of children, and she is genuinely interested on making sure that children get what they deserve. In summary, you cannot go wrong if you hire Lauren.

Lauren Spears is in a class of her own. She is an excellent Lawyer, who listens to her clients and helps them to balance out there thinking during a very emotional time. She has courage to fight the battles and advocate on behalf the under-priviledged and the vulnerable. I came to her with a case that some Lawyers wouldn't touch with-out a $20,000 retainer. She wasn't intimidated by the sensitive topics which included domestic violence and child abuse. She fights for my child's best interest and so far she has succeeded! She is polite and professional and you do feel like she is not just a lawyer , but really your friend. She cares about my children not the paycheque. She has NEVER been late . She is a Very hard working Lawyer, dedicated to winning your case. If you love your children than hire Lauren Spears as your Lawyer. After 6 years in the legal system with out Lawyers and with Bad lawyers I finally found the champion for our cause and can see the light at the end of this tunnel.

Lauren has been a very good lawyer to me..As a first timer and totally have no idea how to deal with legal matters, she is always there to explain everything to me. I got so at ease with like a friend instead of just being my lawyer, easy to talk to, very professional. Overall I would definitely recommend her to whoever will need a lawyer with a case like mine
