The most unethical individual I have ever encountered. She will run up your legal bill with no intention of settling, is abrasive and uses tactics that cause mental stress and harm to the children and family as a whole.

If you want a lawyer who tells you how it is and what will be hire Deb! As a father fighting for custody of my child other lawyers made it seem impossible. If you can follow Debs instructions she will make a hopeless situation turn to your favour. Within a few months I had primary residence of my daughter. The hourly rate of this lawyer may be pricey but she makes things happen so fast it is well worth the small price to pay for a lawyer that will actually fight for a fathers right! She made my ex’s lawyer look like a fool. I would highly recommend this lawyer!

Deb has been practicing law for a long time so she is very knowledgeable. She is also a litigation lawyer, I would recommend her given her tenacity and experience if you have a lot of conflict. That being said, her tenacity follows to her clients as well. She often calls during work hours from a blocked number and will leave rude messages if you don't answer. Communication is decent overall, however, many emails sent to Deb or her admins went unanswered (she would charge for receiving the email but would not reply). I booked several phone meetings where she never ended up calling. My case was very simple: transfer of some cash and title on the marital home. This process took 18 months and never went to court. She made a number of errors in the paper work resulting in re-work (and fees at my expense). If your situation is difficult, choose Deb. If not and your case is simple, you would be better off getting a less expensive lawyer younger and more in tune with preparing accurate work.

I have read some of the comments about Deborah Baradziej. I was office admin at a firm she was a partner in. Albeit it was a while ago and I am furious at the comments I have read on here! I did help book keeping as well! She did not charge for work she did not do! I can also attest to the fact she was in the office working at midnight often, for the benefit of her clients. Family Law is not easy! She protects her clients rights so if she's not all sweetness and light all the time, too bad. Her record keeping was impeccable. I know because if I misplace anything, she wanted it located immediately. She also listened to her clients concerns even if they were very lengthy messages on the answering machine. As a person who completed some Law Clerk courses back East I think I would have noticed Personally it is my opinion that haters made nasty posts here! If you want someone to stand up for you, this is the lady who'll do it.

Deborah was a very good lawyer for my situation. Upfront about billing and expectation. My biggest problem was not listening to her advice immediately. I would recommend Deborah for the tough family law cases.

Competent, knowledgeable senior counsel. Pragmatic, informed and well respected counsel. Acts for both men and women. Her advice was always frank but law inspired. She takes control of the file and the client. All in all, I would hire her again always.

My experience with Ms. Baradziej was nothing but positive. She took on my case after one year of getting nowhere with my previous lawyer. She took an assertive, no-nonsense position, and within a month she had cut through the 'garbage', getting a settlement prepared that was good for all concerned. Thank you, Ms. Baradzien.

Deborah was recommended to us by another lawyer. She knows what to do to get it done. She supports fathers and will tell you how it is. If there is a need to contact you she will! If not she won't waste your time and money. Her and her assistant come well prepared. Don't be bullied by another lawyer get Deborah Baradziej on your side!

Do NOT hire this lawyer or anyone affiliated with her. She has trained some of the most dirt bag lawyers in Edmonton. She might get you what you want but at the detriment of the child. She is ignorant and does not care about anything but her clicker book. Very difficult to deal with and does what she wants.

We have been very happy with Deborah. She will not fill your mind with false promises. She is extremely to the point and will only deal with you if there is something to be done. She does not call just to talk as she believes it is a waste of her legal fees. She was aware of the facts and did not let other lawyers push her around. If her legal assistant or jr lawyer would do paperwork for her it would reflect on her bill at a lower hourly cost. I highly recommend if you have a REAL case. If you are looking for false promises and for someone to fight for something that is unrealistic or unfair then she is not the lawyer for you.

I agree with a few points in how this lawyer conducts herself. She is ruthless, a pit bull, unethical, will do anything to win even at the detriment of the child's best interest, if you want to win...if you call that...choose her.

After my divorce case had dragged on going nowhere for almost 2 years, I dropped my first lawyer and retained the services of Ms. Baradziej. She was wonderful. Hard working. To the point. No B.S. She began working FOR ME, not getting bullied as my previous (VERY COSTLY) senior lawyer had been. She immediately got things moving and had my divorce case settled in 3 months. The settlement was fair and quick. I wish I had seen her first!

She has a reputation of not being the nicest person but I did not care about friendship or sympathy from my lawyer when going against my awful husband and his ruthless lawyer. If you want knowledge and someone to tell u the truth, go with ms. B. If you're looking for lawyer to hold ur hand and feed u false promises then go elsewhere. I can see how she's not everyone's cup of tea in our too sensitive society

Awesome senior family law lawyer. Ms. Baradziej was extremely knowledgeable about my custody matter. She was very honest about what was reasonable to ask for. She’s very good and aggressive in court and I ended up receiving everything I wanted.
