Went into negotiation and she was like a scared mouse. Went awful. doesnt seem to know how to strategize legally. Wish I went elsewhere.

My divorce was maybe unusual because we still get along. It still took nearly a year to get our settlement agreement. I don't know whether it could have been done any faster or whether it was the other lawyer dragging his feet. Heather was a bit hard to reach by email sometimes but I found she did pick up the phone. At the end of the day I am very satisfied with her work.

I've known Heather professionally for a number of years now and have referred a number of clients to her and her team because I know they will be well taken care of. I've heard only good things from those clients. Kudos to her for taking on other people's problems like they were her own. It can't be easy.

OMG run from this one! Money is what it's all about for her..which would almost be understandable if she had any skills to back it up...but she doesn't. She will make things worse between parties just for a buck.

Tenacious and not afraid to go to court despite she will tell you to avoid it if possible. Wasn't possible for me. Good lawyer.

Lacks confidence, I retained this lawyer, however her and Ms. McGurk seeem to need the other's assistance to do thier job. Very expensive as you end up paying for 2 lawyers to do the job that one competant one could do. however even with both of them you still are not getting competant legal representation, priority on billing and making money than settling a case. They are very reactive in their responses to the other party which also ends up increasing the billing. They try to bully the other party. Once I hired the firm there was no cooperation between my ex and I and things became as far from amicable as they could be.

Not very good. I had to call and ask if she was still working on my case. Provided no leadership, decision making or suggestions.Perhaps in the wrong career.

She was terrible! She overfilled be and was terrible in court. No one told me she was that junior. Opposing counsel pushed her around at every turn. I got a new lawyer as fast as I could.

Worst, most inexperienced and incompetent lawyer. Had to give her instructions on how to handle my case and even when giving her clear instructions, she still did not follow through. In court, she was shaking in her boots, voice was cracking as she was so nervous, didn't present any of my relevant issues, presented a different document in court than the one I approved and served to the respondent and then when questioned about it, she just responded, "oops, I don't know what happened. I had it in my previous versions." My case was so simple and straight forward, it was difficult to mess up but Heather managed to charge me thousands of dollars for no outcome, and in fact, making the situation worse for me. When I consulted with a different lawyer after, he was able to do all the work that Heather should have gotten done in half the cost.
