Meeting Robert was like a breath of fresh air. He is knowledgeable and highly intelligent but is also humble and easy to talk to. I felt heard and understood when discussing my issues with Robert. I was charged with dangerous driving back in April and hired Robert to defend me. The reason I picked him over others that specialize in only driving related offenses is because all of the other lawyers basically told me in a roundabout way that they would aim to lessen the charge in exchange for having to redo driving school and some other driving restrictions. They were also trying to scare me into hiring them which I did not appreciate. Robert was the only one that was confident in getting the charge completely dropped and did not pressure me or try to scare me into hiring him. All for cheaper than the others. He was patient and answered my calls even after hours and he got the charges completely dropped without me even having to go to court. I'm not sure how he did it but he convinced the crown they had no case. I'm sure there are other great lawyers out there but I'm glad I went with Robert, he did an awesome job at getting me out of a stressful situation.

Our entire family was wrongfully accused by an estranged and vengeful family member with a fictional account of events which led to our arrest and a Criminal Harassment charge. Accuser and prosecution were hellbent on jailtime. We had actually begun preparing for the worst because our previous attorney had forced us into a really bad and hopeless situation.
Robert is a relentless attorney and showed tremendous compassion with us.
He is an excellent communicator; very clear and precise.
In court he is always alert, on his toes and just does not quit. He is quick to come up with alternatives when one door seems to be closing. It's reassuring to see him each time we had to be in court.
Against an incredibly stubborn prosecutor's office he was able to get our charges withdrawn. I would hire him again in a second if I ever needed any kind of lawyer (civil or criminal).

I am a prosecutor in Toronto, I’ve dealt with Robert on a number of occasions, and he is simply one of the best. He is very disarming, judges love him, witnesses respond to him, and he has an impressive knowledge of the law and rules of evidence. He has developed a reputation of being a straight shooter who is tough as nails when necessary and he gets excellent results for his clients as a result. Prosecutors can’t recommend lawyers to accused individuals but what I can say is that if I were charged with a serious crime whether it be a violent crime, white collar fraud, drug related, or really anything, I would want him as my lawyer.

Robert Karrass is an amazing Lawyer. He represented me at the law society and because of him I still have my license to practice. The way he cross-examined the law society's witnesses was unbelievable, it was like he knew exactly what to say and what to ask to get them to agree with us. He was organized and prepared but didn't need to use his notes, it was like he was just having a conversation with the witnesses who had no choice but to agree with him. By the end of the hearing the panel immediately agreed that I would be able to keep practicing, we didn't even have to wait for a decision. Since then I go to Robert with any questions I have in my own practice and he is always available to help. I'm so grateful to him.

I was accused of causing serious damage to my office building. I was arrested and brought to court in Brampton. Because of the seriousness of the charges the prosecutor contested my release. Robert represented me at the bail hearing and started asking the prosecutor questions about the case in front of the judge. When he was done the judge granted me bail with no conditions... I was even allowed to go back to work at my office building the next day. Robert then negotiated with building management who didn't want me back on the premises. Because of Robert I was able to break my lease so that I could get a new office unit in another building (which was a nicer unit for less money), and I even got my security deposit back. Since then the charges against we were withdrawn and Robert has represented me in all of my litigation needs. I recommend him to anyone facing serious criminal charges or requiring negotiation in civil litigation... he's unbelievable.

I'm a lawyer whose license to practice was wrongfully revoked. I hired Robert to appeal the decision. I was very impressed with his knowledge and his ability to come up with unique arguments to support my position. I am a vet in Toronto with over 20 years of experience. The College of Veterinarians of Ontario accused me of misdiagnosing one of my patients and a trial was scheduled. My previous lawyer quit the day before the trial and by chance a colleague recommended Robert Karrass. Robert met with me, went over the bankers box of material I brought, and discussed the pros and cons of my case as well as my options. He also explained the challenges for a lawyer taking a case so last minute. I decided to hire him to proceed with the trial for the next day. Mr. Karrass handled my case with great professionalism. He listened carefully to my story, and he explained my options so that I could make an informed decision on how to proceed. Mr. Karrass was nice, approachable, and very patient with me, but when it came to negotiating with the other party, he was relentless. I was already willing to give up, but he advised me to stick to my guns, and he got me the settlement I wanted.
