I've used this lawyer a few times, probably four or more. Honestly one out of those four times did I get a happy ending, and truth be told it wasn't him that got me the great deal it was the judge who came up with the plan for me. Douglass has let me down numerous times and wouldnt recommend him to my worst enemy. He's lazy, not organized at all and never did a thing I asked him to do, he's forgetful and you would think that a lawyer your paying cash out of pocket would schedule multiple appointments whether be it phone or in person but he doesnt. He gets mad at you and yells at you and honestly I think he would make a better crown prosecuter than a lawyer. With the results I've received from him he might as well been a damn crown. Few of my friends also agree stating that he has even forgot about court dates. Save your money and get a real lawyer because I believe a shoelace could have done better than him. Thanks for nothing douglass maybe you should think about different job

Was not prepared. Did not read the prosecutors submission. Looked like a fool madly thumbing through the briefs when it became obvious he had not even read the prosecutors cases. Let me down big time. Said he had won many cases against this prosecutor. After I hired him he began to work on a plea bargain without my consent. Never did a lick of work on my case, relieved me of a lot of money. Should have fired him and defended myself.

I didn t hear from my lawyer douglas till a few days before court I was worried he forgot but nope douglas was rite on with what my case was about and what he was going to do for me I was so happy and releaved when I talk to him.he was a man with a plan to get me off of all charges and he did he's amazing I will for sure no doubt call a pin him again if I find myself in trouble. You never know if a lawyer will really protect you before you enter into an agreement with the lawyer. Be extra careful with sugar-coated statements from unethical lawyers. Before Doug, I retained an unethical lawyer and terminated the contract with that lawyer. Doug is honest lawyer. Retaining him, I can see that he did the best to protect me. I highly recommend Doug to people looking for a lawyer who will really be on your side.

Douglas Lee was great. My first time getting into some legal troubles, and I was scared. I went from looking at facing criminal charge, even though I've been really well behaved in my 34 years of life. Douglas was able to navigate this issue for me, all the way until my charges were dropped. I'll soon have my life back. Although these kind of things have never happened to me before, I was so nervous. I kept on contacting Douglas maybe every 2 days or so for an update, maybe even more often. Every time, he was patient, and understanding. Douglas mentioned he will be starting his own law firm soon. I CANNOT WAIT to start recommending him. In my personal situation I couldn’t afford to pay cash , so I had to apply through legal aid , but suprisingly I got a superior defense , and to be honest I was astonished that he put forth such a strong defense, that I felt I had paid thousands of dollars. In past experiences I have gotten a sub par defense, when dealing with lawyers that will accept legal aid. When I called or emailed him , I got a response within a couple of hours . I was looking at two years on my charges and he got it reduced to a peace bond before I even knew what was going on. I can't recommend him highly enough. He pretty much saved my life. I had met Douglas outside the court room and i asked if he was legal aid and he told he was an actual lawyer and further asked me what my situation was. I told him was planning on pleading to a lesser non-record offence and he suggested i take to court. After getting disclosure and reviewing it with me he felt comfortable to move forward and he got the whole case dismissed entirely. Douglass is a definitely the best lawyer I have ever met, I had a few serious driving charges which I was looking at significant jail time, he assured me we would get a better deal with his assistance, he managed to cut my sentence to less than a third of what they were asking in the first place, and got most of my fines thrown out, around this same time I got a serous aggravated assault acusation, which I was remanded for, he then reviewed my case and got me bail and had my charges withdrawn 6 months before my trial, he always picked up my phone calls even if he was extreamly busy,and informed me what was going to happen at my next appearance, he is very smart and good at what he does and i recommend him all the time

Doug got me out first on good faith which meant alot ...he was extremely knowledgeable in every scenario that my case could have ended up in . I'm happy to say he got my charges dropped with a fine when I have a lengthy previous record ...he was able to expose my positives since my last offence in the court rather then the negatives which I believe is the difference between a year in prison and 1000 fine thanks again doug

I had a a lawyer before Douglas and I was being neglected. Douglas had the case for 3 months and he beat my charges. I was looking at 5 years jail. Now i am free with acquittals after trial. Awesome, just plain awesome.

When I first met Douglas about a year ago, I was very concerned about how young he was. A year later, he has blown away my expectations. I have been represented by some of the city's best criminal lawyers and I would say Douglas ranked among them easily despite being so young. I hope I don't get in any more trouble but if I do I am calling Douglas again.
