I engaged Pierre to assist in a separation process in November. I consider myself to be a sophisticated consumer of professional services as a SME owner of 25 years. I can easily say that Pierre was professional, acknowledged and/or acted upon all of my e-mails within 24 hours, accepted direction easily and always had an eye to managing billable hours in the client's interest. The last item is somewhat unique in the legal profession, I will add. Pierre is 'in it' for the long term and his actions and work reflect that! I highly recommend.

I am writing this review of Pierre Sicco at McBride Wallace Laurent & Cord. LLP.
In short if you are looking for a great (not just good but great) divorce lawyer Pierre Sicco is the only lawyer you should consider.
Pierre handled my separation and divorce from my wife of 43 years in from September 2021 to June of 2022.
It was a contentious divorce but because of Pierre’s significant skill set he moved the process along as quickly as he could, and I got me a very favourable separation agreement.
Pierre’s skill set include:
1. He has practiced divorce law for over 30 years, so he brings a wealth of experience to the proceedings
2. Because of his years of experience, he has developed the skill of being able to read and interpret the actions of the opposition lawyer. I had quite a challenging separation. Pierre was the perfect lawyer. His experience and knowledge combined with his compassion made me at ease during this stressful ordeal. I was referred to Pierre after firing my first lawyer who was disasterous & in over her head with my ex's lawyer. Pierre turned things around. He was a fierce advocate, explained things clearly and thoroughly and was patient with me while I was going thru a painful & difficult time. Pierre was always prepared at settlement meetings and in court, he was professional in his dealings with my ex's lawyer. He always let me know what my options were and asked ME what I wanted to do next. He reminded me that he was there to represent me, not make decisions for me. While our agreement was incredibly drawn out, Pierre stayed the course and got me *exactly* what I had initially asked for - a fair deal. His law clerk Sunny is lovely - a pleasure to deal with as well. I have already recommended Pierre to 2 friends of friends that looking at complicated separations. Pierre is a fantastic lawyer and a really nice person on top of it!

You could not ask for a more kind, compassionate and empathetic family law lawyer. Pierre approached my untenable and frustrating situation with a calm manner and always gave me hope that things would eventually resolve in a timely fashion. Appeared to want to drag my family law matter on unnecessarily to keep forcing me to pay and pay. After not being completely honest me one too many times I fired him and the case settled a few weeks after on good terms. Avoid or be sorry.
