By all accounts I have been very happy with the service and professionalism I received from Solmaz and her staff. She provided me with excellent guidance as I negotiated my Separation Agreement and were very responsive to my questions and concerns. If I have any advise for anyone, that would be that if you want to achieve the best results, you need to participate fully in the process and don't expect that your Lawyer will "do it all". Spend the time and sweat the details. The better you arm your Lawyer, the better they will be able to look out for your interests. Thank you again Solmaz!

The best lawyer, firm, and team I have yet to find and work with. They are all very knowledgeable, and work as a team to get you exactly what you are seeking. Any questions you may have, or communication is answered very quickly and efficiently. I was able to win my family law trial which was a very long haul, but in the end a success. I retained Separy Law P.C for my custody/access case. Their firm have been fantastic to work with. I'd especially like to recognize Adam who has worked tirelessly on my file, is extremely responsive - I never have to wait more than a day to hear back from him, if not a few hours. Solmaz and Adam are both understanding and have been patient with me during such a stressful time in my life. They always answered all of my numerous questions, gave honest advice, and have always made me feel heard. Very disappointed with the way this lawyer handled my case. I had a marriage agreement and it was all ready to go. Because of the costs and the covid she tried to negotiate with the other side because she was afraid or loosing without consulting and kept saying i told her to negotiate. I will report her actions.

I can not recommend her. My experience was not satisfactory. After she suggested writing a letter to the opposing party, I indicated that I wished to review the letter before it was sent. She told me that she usually didn't permit her clients to review her correspondence. I tried to suggest that as lawyers represent clients, it's a client's right to know what is going to be said on their behalf. She repeated that it was not the policy of her firm, and that if I wished to continue to work with her, I would have to accept that policy. (i.e. letters she might prepare to send to opposing counsel would be sent without the client having an opportunity to review it.) This occurred after I had paid a significant fee, for which she reviewed my file, provided her legal opinion of how it would be handled, and little else. Pros: She is organized and responds to emails quickly. Cons: The policies, such as I have described, are unreasonable. Also, in my opinion, the behaviour was unprofessional.

After my mother's passing in 2017, I had to step up and be a caregiver for four of my younger siblings. Unfortunately I did not have custody do to the fact that I wasn't a Biological parent; so I had to get custody from both of the fathers in this matter.I instantly needed a lawyer and was recommended to Separy& Law,being only 21 I was scared for the fight for custody;But having Solmaz Separy and her team to guide me through the process it made it a lot easier to handle. They care a lot for their clients and I truly felt they were doing everything to benefit my needs. I have Full Custody for all four of my siblings all thanks to Separy&Law. I am extermlly happy with her and her team. She her self is accurate and turly honest with her client and work. Has a good team and answer to your question guides you accordingly. I will surly reccomend her with her work she and her team take her clients very seriously works with them guides them in a very well mannered way with wasting her and others time. Separy Law and their team are lovely. They respond to communication really quickly. They gave me appropriate lawyer counselling because they were always honest in their approach. If something in my case was difficult or unable to be achieved they didn't just say this is achievable - they explained to me the reasons something needed more work and the reasons our strategy needed to be legal and always took my thoughts and instructions into consideration. My case was resolved with appropriate child support, custody, and proper access (visitation) to my husband that never sees children, to be when I agree it should be and when my children want it. He also had not paid child support since the kids were born and Separy Law was able to get that Order for me. Now I hope he pays. The firm has a very nice relationship with clients and they seem to really like working with each other. I felt better each time I attended their office, no matter who I met with. I truly recommend them. They are great

Separy Law is a lovely firm that is very caring. She works with really great staff and they are all wonderful people. One of the things I really like about the firm is their responsiveness. They respond usually in less than 24 hours and always have the right advice. Sometimes as well though as clients we can be demanding and they really have a good way of managing that calmly and attentively. My case involved child support by a non-paying father. We had a motion and the motion was successful. The Judge was very happy with Ms. Separy's document preparation and advocacy. Maybe it will get him to pay finally after many years of me supporting our kids on my own. Separy Law also ensured that the order is also enforced through the family responsibility office which means if he doesn’t pay they will take action such as cancel his driver’s license, garnish money or cancel his passport. I can’t say enough good htings abaut Separy Law. I never had problem with her or staff.

I am very happy with this firms services. They are very responsive and sweet. They understand what I’m going through and really respond fast. They resolved my property issues very quickly And I was able to receive an equalization that was fair. I had bad relationship with my wife and we had ended up working things out quite well and now we are friends for sake of kids. I recommend this firm. We also works out custody and access. That was more difficult but it was because of bad relationship with husband. Firm told me to be more reasonable about my approach and helped. They gave me ideas on how to work things out.

I truly never wanted to rate her but I believe I may be helping somebody. I have never meet such a horrible lawyer. In times when people know nothing about the law, are emotional, feeling like their life is in shambles you would think, your lawyer, would help or make you feel confident in your matter. She never explained anything to me, always made me feel like I was bothering her. You have to book an appointment to talk to her and you only have 15 mins to talk about whatever issues or concerns you have. I truly did not have a good experience with her. EXTREMELY INSENSITIVE! Like I said in a time when you feel it's your darkest moments you want someone in your corner instead of feeling like a number. Would not recommend her, EVER!

I would highly recommend hiring Solmaz for custody and divorce cases. Her level of expertise,

me with not only 1 but 2 distinct cases involving custody and divorce which both turned out in my favour

I retained Separy Law. I was already in the middle of a very tough and stressful child access and support case which started in 2015, for which I had a previous lawyer who dropped my case right in the middle and left me without counsel or any idea what was happening with my case.
I was left heartbroken overwhelmed and stressed. I went to various lawyers, but since my case was already in progress and not represented properly in the first place, they did not want to get involved, and represent me. I was feeling helpless and scared. No one would meet with me when they heard the facts of my case.
When I called the Separy Law PC, they took my information, Ms. Separy called me back, arranged for a consultation and I was delighted that she agreed to take on my case. A real turkey who thinks she’s an eagle. When I enquired about what strategy we might use in our court appearance, she actually revealed that she only looks at a file the day prior to a court day – that way it’s all “fresh” in her mind. So much for strategy. I guess “winging” it is what turkeys naturally prefer. Don’t hire her even if you’re desperate. Cutting your own throat will cost you less in money and humiliation. Hopefully, she won't be around after Thanksgiving. Gobble, gobble.
