I was very scared initially knowing about some of the possible outcomes. I also considered representing myself and not paying for the lawyer, which I am glad I did not choose to do. Working in a field where having any criminal record could mean the end of my career, Mr. Shaffie was able to deliver what he promised. The lawyer had the charge withdrawn and helped me have a second chance at my career and my life. I would absolutely recommend him especially that it was all done with a very reasonable fee.

After consulting many lawyers who didn't want to commit to my case, only Mr. Shaffie explained to me with his professionalism, experience and knowledge the possible scenarios of my case without creating false expectations. Shayan was really compassionate and honest during these hard times and something I really appreciate is that he always kept me updated of everything whenever I contacted him with questions about my case. Shaffie was my choice after being scared by many lawyers that situation would be very complicated, I need to prepare a lot of money and a very long time to fight for the charge… And Shaffie let all my worries go off my mind after 3 months! I couldn’t appreciate enough what he had done to help me with his connections with other lawyers to take me out of trouble and the best part is, he truly believed me. He did not need to ask me too much or let me explain too much about my case. He knew where things would go to, what to expect and what the most likely result would be. He would not advertise himself as an excellent lawyer with a lot of experience and never lost a case like many other lawyers do, however showed me the reality and all the factors that could decide the outcome of the case. Shayan is a great no-nonsense lawyer. From the beginning he tells you what he plans on doing, and he follows through with it. What I really liked was that when he couldn't pick up the phone, he would call back by the next day at the latest.
He tells you what to expect and what the reality of things are without sugar coating it, and I really appreciated that. Thank you Shayan, you got me the outcome I was hoping for.

I got into a completely unanticipated assault charge situation earlier this year. Being the first time I would have such contact with the legal system, I was determined to get the best representation to extricate myself from the quagmire. I spoke to a number of lawyers within and outside my city on phone, but it was only after I spoke to Shaffie that I began to get that sense of assurance that the nauseous charge could be dropped. I settled for his services after checking out his YouTube videos; the guy is eloquent, knows the law, and possesses the grace and carriage of a persuasive advocate. My reasoning then was that, with the mannerisms and competence he displayed in those videos, he should be able to sway a Judge to his side. Thereafter, he and I agreed on a strategy that we followed over several months and which ultimately resulted in the desired end result - a withdrawal. In summary, if you ever need help with legal representation in his field, I do recommend Shaffie Law highly.

I came across Shayan after I got charged with two counts of assault. In this situation I was the victim but because I ran home after being assaulted and defending myself, I was arrested. This has been a nightmare for me and was ruining my life as I am a registered teacher. To make matters worse, my charge was upgraded to level 2 assault and I was looking at jail time. He has helped me through this difficult time with the upmost professionalism. He is very calculated, smart and has many connections in the court system. He has worked very hard on my case and has gotten me down to a lesser charge with no jail time and continues to get the charge lowered as time goes on. Theres is so much for me to say but a 1000 word limit is just not enough. This man, Shaffie changed my whole life. Coming from a person who grew up playing basketball it was never a thought that i'd end of retaining Shaffies Services. My case lasted about 2/3 years and honestly I thank God that Shaffie was my lawyer. During the time the case was going on, i can say that i gave up. I never thought that there was a chance for me , could barely sleep knowing that my life could officially be taking from me... theres is so much for me to say that it gets me emotional every time but what i am truly happy about is the fact i was able to get to know a man like him. First time getting into trouble. Really didn’t know what to do or expect. he help me out and gave his honest opinion on what’s best for my situation. But to make a long story short he told me what my options were gonna be that i agreed too then turn around a beat them all. I Couldn’t be more happier with the outcome. I was falsely accused and arrested facing some rather serious criminal charges in Durham region. I had the chance of hiring Mr. Shaffie as my legal counsel. When I spoke to him on the phone, he immediately booked an appointment to meet with me and discuss my case. After our meeting, I was determined that he would handle my case. I my uncle was the one that referred me to Shayan Shaffie. He told me that he was a really good lawyer and would fight for you to the end no matter what. I have seen a lot of lawyers in my life and none of them even compare the Shayan. He fights for you as if you were part of his family and treats you the same. he works day and night to make sure you get freed or get a really good sentence; even if you are guilty or not. he works harder then anyone else I have ever met. I honestly do not like the law the police or lawyers. I have seen some lawyers screw some friends of mine over even when they know they are innocent, some do not even try there hardest to get them free, not shayan. I was charged with assault and 2 other charges that were really serious if i was convicted i would serve at least 10-15 years. Shayan Got 2 of the charges dropped I got sentenced for 3 months house arrest 3 months curfew and then 2 years probation. I honestly want to thank you Shayan for fighting for me.

I am glad that I choose Mr shayan Shaffie for my domestic violence case. I am 30 and I have never been charged for any criminal offence before. It's a nightmare to get charged for domestic violence just because of a small argument with my girl friend neither me or my girl friend expected that as building security call the cops. I don't even know where to begin but I can tell you that Shayan as a lawyer will do anything and everything in his power to help your case get the BEST possible OUTCOME. I was charged with an offence that would literally put an end to my life and potential future had I been convicted. At the time I met Shayan, I was in a less than ideal and a highly problematic situation, where I did not have any of my resources readily available. I was faced with 4 criminal charges and through Shayans patience and hard work in working with my case got the best deal any judge/crown would have given in my situtation. 3 criminal charges dropped to accept one with minimal fine and no jail time.
