I felt like a broken record constantly emailing and calling her over and over and never got any results. It took well over 4 years to finalize anything and the only reason was i went to the higher ups to make a complaint.

Absolutely nothing was settled or finalized after months of waiting and thousands of $$$. Ended up completing my divorce MYSELF!!!

Very unprofessional and uninterested in her job. She showed up with me at a contested hearing without my consent or knowledge that she had already negotiated formally with the other party. This obviously did not resolve matters so I decided to represent myself, filed another motion, and then won my motion.

Lindsey seems nice to start and like she wants to help you but it's only a game to trick you into settling. She spends more time shutting down your concerns and defending the other side. I highly don't recommend.

We are dealing with Lyndsey Amott now my husband hired her and I wish I had looked her up before letting my husband take her on and seen these reviews. From the very beginning after we gave the retainer fee we realized how Lyndsey works and we called her Manager right away to let him know of our issue with her. (who we are thankful to be dealing with now) All of the comments below describe her to a T to this day. She is very unorganized, unknowledgeable, unprofessional (phone call would end we would call back no answer to find out she took a "smoke break")She also argues (very condescending) with you and does not listen. We hired her needing an attorney from Canada as we live in the US and needed to handle a child support matter Not enough character to explain our ordeal with her. We are very thankful she left the office we initiated her services with so we no longer need to deal with her for our matter. PLEASE, PLEASE,PLEASE due your research and homework before taking her on.

By far the worst lawyer I have had, she expects me to bend over backwards and give up. Has no fight for her clients as far as I can tell. Not to mention she doesnt actually know what she is talking about. Seems as though she is lazy and doesnt research the matter at hand to find out what can be done.

Horriable just horriable like everyone aakd sits there not saying a word then gives other party what they want...useless better fighting for yourself even if you cant read and have no knowledge about whats going on

Lyndsey is the most unorganized lawyer I have ever encountered, she is severely lacking in her skills in many areas as she does not read the information about her case, when she attends case conferences, four way meetings she sits there not saying a word and representing her client. She has no fight in her for her client what so ever. If you truly care about your case do not hire her. She throws around how little she gets paid from legal aid to represent and that is disgraceful in my opinion. Every client deserves a fair opportunity in their case.

Worst lawyer there is. She have no clue what she is doing. If you want to lose a case you can get her as a lawyer. No potential whatsoever.
