My experience with Mena was exceptional and very consistent with the other positive reviews. He is younger with a growing practice, but that does not stand in his way of getting results. He is very hungry & tenacious, not your typical cookie cutter lawyer. I found Mena's ability to consume case information, piece things together and remember specifics was amazing. He went into each CPT & JPT with a solid plan and having an edge on the Crown. My case never went to trial, but I got the sense through a long drawn out case to understand that most crowns would not want to face him during trial. He is very much up and coming within the industry and I am both fortunate and lucky to have had him in my corner. In addition, Mena also has a very good (young) team working with him, shot out to Rawan (thank you) who are equally aggressive to get a positive result. His prices are moderate and communication is very good.

Faced seeious allegations and was wrongfully accused. Police didn’t believe me. My first lawyer didn’t help much. I moved my case to Mena’s firm and I am an amazed to say that before knew it he had updated me that he got all allegations withdrawn. What a blessing he has been to me and my family. I hope people see this and urge them to put their trust in the right lawyer and mena is what I would say one of the best I’ve met or dealed with. Thank you counsel Mena!

I can say he is humble and modest until trial started then it was very different and very fun to watch .. considering my circumstances. We won the trial. No regrets but hopefully won’t need him as a lawyer again!

Mena is young, his skill set and knowledge of the law is immense. If he needed consult from his superiors, he put it to very good use in my case and hence I believe that your networth is your network. I know Mena worked day and night on my case and would often encourage me to know the full scope of my case. He never had me waiting and whenever a meeting with the court and prosecutor would happen, Mena immediately updated me. He is a person who gives comfort to his clients. He knows the world is real and he has a heart of gold and a fight stronger than a beast. Mena truly worked harder than I have ever seen anyone work in my life. Not only did I sense he was fighting my case because he was motivated by the matter, but I felt like he was my brother really looking out for me and making sure I stand up again and succeed.

I am happy to give my honest review of Mr. Mena Bastawrous . I was battling a legal criminal case for close to 40 months with a former lawyer who gave me nothing but despair. I was charged with multiple counts of Fraud and Assault and had media coverage. This case was difficult due to the pressure of the media, the health care board , the detective and prosecution. I was indicted to the federal court and this battle seemed like it was never ending. In fact I got the vibes that my old lawyer was giving up and had encouraged me to take a plea deal.
I was acquainted with Mr.Bastawrous through a friend I went to university with, and I felt immediate comfort in hearing his thoughts about my case. Mena made me one firm promise and it was that he was going to fight tooth and nail, turn every stone, and go through this case with a fine toothed comb. Mena represented my corporation for serious charges that could have ruined everything for me, my business and my family. Many lawyers wanted my case but I went with Mena and I could not be happier that I did. I hired him before for my sons criminal charges and did an incredible job at that time too. People still have a hard time believing the result he got me. He had the more serious charges withdrawn. He was aggressive from day one. He got a $600,000 fine down to $1000 and had the facts changed to exactly what he wanted to protect me from possible liability in the future. He was always one step ahead. I was expecting to pay over $100,000 and would be happy with that. He was very good with communicating and if he was in court he returned my calls right away after. I work long hours, sleep little and my health is not too great so Mena came to see me every time we had to talk. I never had to ask for an update. Very amazing lawyer I couldn't have asked for a better one who also did my case pro bono! For a minute I thought that it would never end, then that very last minute being in that courtroom seeing Mena light it up and get my charges withdrawn I couldn't believe it. Strongly recommending him! I thought I was for sure a goner and had no shot at beating my charges!
