he might excel at criminal law, but certainly not in family law, I spent at least $20,000 in his firm, and all I received is a interium parenting court order. he even acknowledged that this order is not good at all, but his response was simply, 'at least you agreed to it too'. and now I am stuck with this order and facing additional expenses to have it amended.

I used Allen for real estate services over the summer: sold and purchased a house. There were lots of papers to sign and Allen explained everything with ease. Rates are reasonable with no hidden charges. Every dollar is accounted for at the end. I highly recommend using him, since Ive gotten burned badly with hidden charges in the past at other law firms.

He got me a provincial court order for child's name changing, which is not acceptable for the government. As a family/divorce lawyer, he should know that a federal order is required to change one's last name, not a provincial one. I have to file for another court hearing and prepare for a series of other documents with another representative for this matter and that took double the effort. Very disappointing about this lawyer's basic knowledge for family/divorce practice.

Aside from securing a WINNING VERDICT, the one great fact about Mr. Allen Xiao is his ability to make you feel like his only client (despite being a very busy and desired lawyer). Most likely the result of Allen’s efficiency and intelligence, never wasting a moment of time during meetings, calls or emails. And his responsiveness to such is always 100% and usually the same day. I was certain I had no chance of winning, literally going up against a driving suspension, but the facts were all that interested Mr. Xiao (educating me about his clear vision of the law). Allen has also given me free counsel on other matters as well as make payment options. All I can say is this man is young, smart and ambitious and has already made a name for himself .. and definitely destined for the Supreme Court. 1000% recommend Allen Xiao and Axion Law. He was a very good lawyer for me Allan Xiao was very professional and friendly to me he made sure I got what I wanted. He would always make sure and stay consistent to his work especially with me. He is very good at his job in every aspect and helped me out of a hard place and helped be able to rehabilitate my self. I have very nice experience with Allen. My friend recommended that I should book appointment for my property issues with Allen. He was so easily approachable and friendly that I was surprised. I recommend Allen as one of the best lawyers in the city of Edmonton. His aid through my rough times and custody was amazing. He was very supportive about my case and got me back on track to rebuilding my life. Had it not been for Allen, I’d probably still be in jail or at least half of the position I’m at today. Someone recommended Allen to me and said "He is very good and He will help you out". After ours first phone appointment around 9:00 pm ( not much lawyer can call you at this time the first time) he knew already how he can resolve that matter. Allen is such a good lawyer. I was accused on a couple false charges and my case was a complicated one. He would talk to me and explain things to me so well and I had full confidence in him and wasn’t nervous at all on the date of my trial. Allen did his best and we won. I would highly recommend him. If I could give this young lawyer even better of a review I would. I can honestly say that this has been the most stressful 9 months of my life and Allen Xiao at Wood Law saved my life. I have a feeling he knew what was going on months ago due to his incredible digging skills. I would rather not get into details of my case, but I can say this, I'm very confident with him.
