Absolutely the worst lawyer EVER! I hired him for collaboration and he did absolutely nothing for me, except trump up charges for a series long winded conversations on collaboration. He OVERBILLS clients. He is a smooth talker, but has next to no knowledge on Family Law. His wife "Janice" who acts as his "secretary/clerk" runs the show and dictates client's cases and files. She is rude and belligerent - interrupts conversations, mishandles files, acts on his behalf, dictates the case and has no legal knowledge whatsoever. She essentially runs the client's case. Wish I could post specifics, but unable to do so as my case is still pending. I dropped this lawyer after getting nowhere , except billings. So glad I got out. Do not use him for collaborative practice. He will run you to the ground without any results. There are some very fine collaborative lawyers who are experienced and honest. This one is a crook and will charge you for every single dime he can make off you.

His demonstrated conduct and his office manager Jeanice Klerer was in contravention of lsuc.on.ca/lawyer-conduct-rules, that mandates a lawyer at act as per client instruction, and not arbitrarily and unilaterally.
Most certainly, we are not interested in hiring such a lawyer ever again.
This lawyer and his office manager Jeanice Klerer who acts under his instruction, exemplify the recent articles published by Toronto Star on lawyer misconduct.
Apparently, you seem to be headed in such a direction.
