Riley is an exceptional lawyer and human being. She assisted with my separation and divorce and throughout the entire process, she was incredibly organized and prompt. She provided just the right amount of empathy and viewed the situation with a fair lens while ensuring she was fighting for me every step of the way. People with her capacity are few and far between in life, and even more rare within the legal profession. I interviewed 2 lawyers before I found Riley and knew immediately when I met her that she was the right choice. Times that necessitate working with legal professionals are implicitly difficult, and Riley made this time in my life significantly easier with her professionalism, efficiency, and kindness. Riley was my Lawyer, Common Law Separation. She was very comfortable to talk and confide to, I trusted her. She took a lot of notes asked a lot of questions, the separation agreement was very detailed looking out for my interests and making sure all possible loop holes, grey areas, scenarios were addressed. Our meetings where very to the point, she was always well prepared and made sure you understood everything. Communication was great we mostly emailed and receiving the drafts to review was nice not having to go in I could write notes add things and send back it was so efficient time management. She always replied in a timely matter with an update, all appointments were on time and never delayed or cancelled.
Office was very simple and comfortable being in was very welcoming with a really great stock of Kleenex!
I would not hesitate to go back to Riley or any other lawyer in this firm for future family services ... like a pre nup!

Riley Gallant recently represented me in my complicated child custody case. I found Riley to be very knowledgeable, methodical, and strategic. Most importantly Riley was empathetic. She took the time to listen, and offer honest and well thought out answers to my questions and concerns. Riley made sure I understood what was going on, and provided me with relevant facts to help me make informed decisions. I did my homework and interviewed with several lawyers before I was fortunate enough to meet Riley. I had actually hired another lawyer as my case became very urgent, but once I met Riley, I switched to her immediately. I am the father and was granted primary care and exclusive possession of the home. Riley's professionalism is impeccable, her knowledge unsurpassed and she is fantastic in the negotiation process. She is easy to talk to, listens and cares, her communication is also top notch. I received everything I needed to protect my children and more, and I truly believe this is almost exclusively due to Riley's skill as a family lawyer. As a father i would highly recommend Riley Gallant for legal representation. I was awarded PRIMARY CARE and if it wasn't for Riley's knowledge and experience I don't think I would have been awarded what I was. My experience with this lawyer was top notch. Going through a divorce is a very difficult moment in ones life but she made the whole experience more tolerable. She is very pationate about her job. She work hours on end on my case. She will reply to emails the moment she receives it and always request for my input. I will recommend Riley Gallant with no hesitation to anyone. Everyone at the firm was very supportive and helpful. I can't express how much I appreciate the energy and expertise shared with me and my case.
Riley was very informed, honest and realistic when sharing her perspective and plan of action with me. She was professional while still being able to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I feel very fortunate that my case was able to be resolved very quickly and positively, leaving me with a big weight off of my shoulders. I felt unrepresented from Riley. Going through custody struggles and she was more on the mothers side, when she should be on my side. She wouldn't listen to me, or hear me out.She literally opened her office door and told me to leave and get a new lawyer, and them resigned, all because I stood up to her and told her she's fighting against me. She also told me to stop blaming woman's rights for the reason that I don't have my child, when in fact that's the case. My child's mother shook the child at a young age, and has mental issues which make her unable to provide care without supports. I am in fact very willing to provide care for my child, and have proved it but, since I am the father I have less rights.I have however gotten more visiting time than I did since he was born and immediately apprehend and put into a support home with his mom, and that was my doing,and with the help of a great social worker, and not a lawyers.
