Very poor service. I paid Warren Small a $5,000 retainer in advance to represent me in my Child Custody, support, and division of community property. He missed (3) of my court dates. Said he had a broken leg, an emergency dentist appt. and the flu. Now that my final court date is here, he says his retainer was spent and he needs another $5,000 to represent me in court. He has filed documents late on my behalf as well, and did NOT fight for me in court. Now my ex-husband is on the verge not only getting child support from me, but spousal support as well and I am UNemployed. Wow, he didn't do a damn thing in my favor, and now he's left me hanging and I have to go to court by myself. I would not hire him. He is a lying, greedy, self-righteous man.

Fails to provide refund of retianer and your case doc originals as required by law; under stayed suspension yet again and still got sued and lost over same thing he should have been disbarded over. ****female clients in court, before seeing hte judge; fails to work on case if you deny or later decline him. takes money out of trust fnds to pay for personal expenses and vacations ( ex-employee as well as client, say his do it all) plus, he jerks off in the office! he is a disgusting little man who blames everyone else for his mistakes, claimed he is well admired when everyone really hates him... never mind that though, pay attention to his losing records and lack of appearances at client hearings, billing for a 15 minute phone call when all he does is dial numer, say he is returning call and hangs up, his sexual misconduct and more. go to http://members.calbar.ca.gov/search/m... and http://members.calbar.ca.gov/courtDoc... for proof!

We paid a retainer and when our son decided not to pursue it, Mr. Small refused to return our calls over the next 2 years and would not return the unused portion of the retainer. I would NOT recommend him.
