We were in a desperate state when we retained Mr. Besser for our child support issue. He was extremely attentive until he was paid his retainer, then for some reason, he couldn't be reached. It wasn't until I sent a letter stated I wanted my money back because he obviously wasn't interested in in our case, did I received a call back. To this day, my husband has left several emails, phone messages and he can't seem to find the time to get back to us (but he can sure find time to post status updates on his facebook account). Run, not walk from this attorney. He honestly could care less about you or your case.

Barry is a very bad lawyer in my opinion. Asks for full payments upfront and never seems to get to the case until the last minute. Very disorganized when it comes to paperwork and calculations. Barry cost me an extra month extension on court hearings because he did his math wrong. I ended up paying him twice as much then what I should be. STAY AWAY from Barry Besser if you have family law cases.

no personal attention. ignores you. asking for more money without results and made up hours worked. does everything last minute. poor communication.
