DERK HELPED MY FAMILY FOR FREE FOR ELEVEN YEARS! I AM SO SUPRISED TO SEE ANY NEGATIVE COMMENTS. HE ALSO DID VOLUNTEER WORK FOR MANY YEARS HELPING MY COUSINS. HE HAD A BUSY OFFICE WITH SO MANY PEOPLE, SO IT DEOSN'T SUPRISE ME THAT HE MAY HAVE A DISGRUNTLED EMPLOYEE MAKING CRAZY REVIEWS ON THIS SITE.

Derk schutmaat has been removed by the California State Bar for his actions in regards to embezzlement of clients money. Schutmaat is under a 9 count felony indictment in Superior Court currently. Check State Bar site to confirm.

Not very good at following up. The case seems to drag on and on, then since months have passed since he last reviewed the file, he has to re-review the file, and then charges you for it! He is however, very good about sharing knowledge re: the law.
