I don't know where to start. While "protecting" the rights of my children as appointed council, she made the statement that she could place my youngest daughter for adoption easily. What??? This had NOTHING to do with adoption. She worked with opposing council and as others said, obviously was padding the bill she garnered from the county. When preparing for reports for the court she would interview the kids, the opposition, and social workers, but NEVER talked to me. The Judge called her on the carpet for it. I could go on and on. Understand that because this case was so contentious I asked for the kids to have representation. Unfortunately they got her. After speaking to the kids they would come home upset because she said that I was a bad mom. What can you say about someone who sells babies for a living.

Her only concerns are billable hours. To say she is worthless would be giving her a compliment

Attorney Anderson was assigned by the court to represent my children. She acted in their best interest and helped break the stalemate created by a hostile divorce. Someone needs to advocate for them and I'm glad it was her.

She is pretty incompetent. Darlene lacks communication skills, and has no sence of urgency. I have found a signifigant decrease in the quality of her work over the last two years.

In my oppinion, a horrible lawyer and I believe her only desire is to pad her billable hours (unfortunately, with certain North County Judge's permission). Overbilled substantially for services she is not authorized to do. Filed and provided documents to the parties well outside the parameters provided under the Family Code and court rules. Conspired with another attorney to increase billable hours. She does not do her job as it is described under the Family Code and does not do what is in the best interest of the child -- She does her best to keep the tention level high, which allows for greater income from the California tax payers.Does not keep the best interest of the child as her underlying goal. I had full legal and physical custody of my child, was told by Ms. Anderson that she believed that was best for him and then argued in court for the opposite (though the Judge made orders contrary to what she advocated).

Ms. Anderson serves as minor's counsel in many high-conflict custody cases in San Diego.
What she has done to my only child cannot be recounted here in one short review. I can only classify her as a MONSTER. In court I witnessed her tear children away from loving parents and place them in abusive homes. She accomplishes this with hearsay and fabricated accusations with no evidence whatsoever to back up her claims.
Unbelievably Ms. Anderson agrees to represent minors, yet refuses to ever meet with the children she is required under law to represent while concurrently collecting hefty checks from the county each month for the services she never rendered. She actually stated on the record in my case with regard to never meeting my child, "yes, it is true that I never met this child, although I think I saw him in the hallway once. [I] don't think an attorney coming in and asking him where he wants to live is going to add much to the mix."
Keep this woman away from children!

Wonderful, experienced and easy to work with. Very down to earth. We have adopted twice with this attorney and would nt hesitate to do it again.

Bad in communication, made mistake in finding the best way for filing my cases of adoption. made mistakes on forms. Respond too late to inquiries. Not properly explains the options.
