I used Jack as my lawyer and he was very good. He was classy not only in the office during our visits but also in the courtroom. Jack knew the laws very well and will be missed.

I retained Jack Roberts in November of 2008 for a divorce. He waits till 2 weeks before my court trial and I receive a letter in the mail stating that he is requesting to be dismissed as my counsel. When I FINIALLY got him on the phone he stated that he no longer feels comfortable being my attorney. I have no idea where this came from nor was I aware that he filed a motion on it. As his asst. stated that these motions are always granted, even though it was two weeks before my trial date. I would not recommend this lawyer. Especially if you actually expect to talk to him. He is never available.

I have used Jack as my attorney in a divorce/custody case - before the hearing, he was upstairs in the judge's chambers with Judge Clawson. He came down stairs and told me not to worry about anything because they'd discussed it upstairs and everything was already settled. That they just have to go thru the motions in the courtroom to make it all look good, but 99% of their cases are settled upstairs before the hearing even begins. After that, I no longer retained his services & returned to court with another attorney that didn't know "the good ole boys code" to making things work in the court system of Faulkner County and was royally screwed because the opposing attorney was a paying member of the club.

This man is corrupt. I have him recorded saying to me that Arkansas has a Statute that allows them to not give me an attorney. A statute that over-rides the constitution. I motioned the court for an attorney, jury, and police reports and witness statements. I got none even though I have Jack tell me my motion was well written. Faulkner County is corruption at its finest. I rated all one because of the out right corruption many have to go through in that court room. It wasn't just me, there was many. The trials have no record. Funny we had microphones set up for arraignment but nothing for trial.

roberts heard a case against my daughter,making it known he new the plaintiff. without hearing all evedince he fined my daughter 500.00 gave her 5 daya in jail.On appeal case was dismist. HE also takes good care of vilonia police dept.

Unless you want to lay over and take it, don't use this lawyer/judge. He is friends with the Honorable Judge Clawson so if your case is up before this judge they together will clean your clock. Try like hell to get your case heard outside of Faulkner County!
