Liar, manipulator and only after the $$ … or what he can get from desperate mothers who he threatens to destroy. He claims to have a Purple Heart medal - it’s a lie. He’s being investigated by Stolen Valor for these lies. He is not allowed to work for PACE after they discovered his multiple bogus “firms” he used to bill under solely to steal money from the system. He should be disbarred from Law.

So much for ETHICS! I do not understand how he keeps getting away with hitting on the mothers. Yes, I said mothers! if we do not cater to his demands, he goes off. He does NOT interview teachers, schools, therapist, other adults, or family but is able to give a recommendation based on what??His gut?? He never once talked to the child who is a pre-teen. Does not read reports...ever... Forgets to enroll in court so it causes postponements and lies that he was given wrong information. Threatens clients "he is the Law". bills WAY TO High and keeps asking judge for additional billing hours. Don't even think of questioning him because that will automatically put you in the time out chair and get you an automatic $XXX,XXX in billed penalty hours. This guy spends more time luring children into his office to see his obsession's with "Star Wars". There is a word for grown men who use toys to get to children...

I don’t understand why this person is allow to practice law when he clearly lies under oath. Very unprofessional and doesn’t care about the welfare of the kids. He is very condescending and likes to intimidate parents by letting them know he had control of the situation and they better follow what he says. I will not rest until this guy is kick out the court system. Spiller is making money while ruining kids’ lives. As an attorney for the children he is supposed to: Speaking to the child directly (without either parent present)
Interviewing teachers, doctors, and therapists
Reviewing school records including report cards and disciplinary records
Accessing medical records
Requesting physical and psychological examinations that affect the minor. He has done none of that. A sad poor excuse of a person.

2019 to 2020 Mr Spiller lied in court under oath only to bias the judge against a parent. He’s very unprofessional and should be disbarred ASAP. He careless about the best interest of the child and only wishes to play judge. God is watching! P.S. have all the transcripts to prove!

Horrible. Corrupt. If you foot his bills plus more he will maybe represent your kids. Never reads paperwork and is very sly with court clerks, deputies, staff, trying to schmooze them. We were told after we filed complaints after it was discovered he double billed for our child through PACE he was removed from our case and was NOT supposed to be on the referral list the judges use, but guess what he's back like a bad penny. He's a liar and a crook, a predator and a thief. He is not a decorated veteran as he lies about. My ex wife and I are lucky to have our children despite all he did (and didn't do) to protect them.

When I needed help with obtaining custody of children and had very limited funds due illness. Mr. Spiller saw me sitting in the hallway of the court crying. He sat and talked with for an hour. He explained what would happen during the hearing and how I could demonstrate to the court that I had a stable living arrangement for children. Thank you Mr. Spiller your kindness and compassion is the reason why my children and I are together.

Will not contact the collaterals unless he is paid the same as the parents are paying their attorneys. Shows little concern for the children he is "supposed" to be protecting. Lies and intimidates based on his own "first impressions." Does not listen to children he is supposed to represent. Basis his conclusions on his own biases. STAY AWAY FROM THIS MONSTER. He will destroy your family.

Mr Spiller represented my children almost ten years ago. I'll never forget how he was as a laywer. It started off by him doing a site visit to the kids other parent & never bother to my place. they were in a two bdrm 5 people two beds. i was in a 2bdrm & we all had our own beds that that wasnt the case with the other parent. He then called me & asked the day before the 1st hearing after he was put on the case & asked me was i ready to take the kids full time? He said the other parent was full of drama & if they dont get there way they were going to drag every one down. Then the very next day in court he want on to side with the person threating the drama. Then when I tried to contact him to find that was all about he refused to acknowledge me emails and faxes. I had to go as far as Hold for him almost an entire day until he took my call and told the receptionist I plan to do this daily until he took my call.

I loved Mr. Spiller. I felt that he was tough but open minded. At first I felt that I was at a disadvantage, and I was, but he listend to all of the facts, and checked them out. He requested a probate investigation and things worked out in lmy favor. God is good!!

To any and all who may read this please send your complaints or any you may have already filed to me at rttorresca@yahoo.com. My son and daughter are currently represented by this idiot Spiller. I have filed a formal complaint against him with the state bar. The only problem is I do not believe enough people have complained. It is true that he does take sides, which is inappropriate for minors counsel, if not unethical. As well, it is true that he has been sanctioned by the State Bar for questionable conduct. To find out more about this seedy **** go to CALBAR.ORG and search for William Spiller Jr. under attorney search where you will find the case filed by the State Bar court against Spiller. I want to hear from anyone who has been adversely affected by this animal. Your child is at risk if even remotely associated by this thug.

This attorney showed up to court w/o reviewing any of the paperwork attached to a move away case in which the judge had safety concerns.I have never been able to reach him through email or on the phone, and have never recieved any return calls when I've had concerns or important issues to discuss.I have, however, received calls regarding other party's concerns and letters in which he completely misquoted me and our convo. Biased, unprepared and def uses intimidation methods. Walked around the courtroom talking about his loaded gun he carries into court, cars and watches he received from"clients who couldn't afford his fees."Before he was appointed, heard him openly making derogatory remarks about an adult star whose child he was representing, and how she"wasn't attractive enough to watch her movies." Would like to get him removed from my case but don't know how. He needs disciplinary action because he is dangerous to the children he represents.

Dangerous to the children he represents. He is not thorough in his investigations and really moves slowly if at all in addressing issues that put child(ren) in danger in some shape or form. He can improve by putting more time and effort into his work and reviewing all submitted documents to him thorougly. He can also improve by requesting psych evaluations for parents when he believes it to be appropriate after thoroughly examining all documents

Spiller Jr showed lack of compassion for his profession. He's biased in cases involving children, towards one parent. Asked for too many extension to prolong the case. Uses intimidation tactics to scare certain parties, shows favoritism, only asks question of one party, and doesn't communicate his concerns for the child to both parents. Catered to his own emotion rather then the child's wellbeing. Not focused in court, wanders about the courtroom, gets involved in other people's cases during his hearing. If you are wondering why he is rated 1 for each given parameter - Knowledge - shows very poor knowledge of his case and clients; Communication - has shown habits of slandering certain parties to other professionals (ie psychiatrists, doctors, etc.); Tenacity - he shows tenacity in the case for certain parents, not the child he's representing; Work quality - slow in getting work done; Value - leaves out important information in the interest of certain parties.
