My cousin used this attorney. He charged him $7,500 to represent him and $7,500 to go to trial. He never went to trial and he forged my cousin's signature for a plea deal which made him guilty for something he never did. Also this attorney never paid him his $7,500 back for not going to trial. We googled him and he has some good reviews but he did my cousin wrong. And my cousin did 30 days in jail from his Attorney Nona forging his signature on a plea deal he never explained to my cousin. So beware of this attorney. He forged my cousin's signature and he kept $7,500 that was paid to him in case this case went to trial which it never did because of Nona forging my cousin's signature to a guilty plea deal.

Shopping for bargain representation and hiring the wrong attorney can be a very costly mistake. I have learned that lesson the hard way. Not only does your attorney need to be knowledgeable and skillful, but from my experience, must be admired and respected by his peers. If the judges and prosecutors don't respect your counsel, the outcome of your case will most certainly reflect that. That's not speculation, that's a FACT! Jeff Nona is HIGHLY respected and admired by his peers and the legal community at large. He is not a newcomer in this arena.The thing I like best about Jeff is that he is direct and to the point. Jeff is a no B.S.kind of guy and gets the job done. He has a paralegal, Lisa Wilson, that is a rock star in her own field and doesn't let things "slip through the cracks" which is really important when your freedom and rights are on the line. Jeff is a very experienced, competent and knowledgeable attorney. He is a no frills, no BS kind of guy who says what he thinks and doesn't hand hold. If you're looking for someone who will give you the warm fuzzies, this is not the guy, but if you're looking for someone who will do his job, not rob you or string things out and who knows his business, Jeff's definitely who you want.

Jeffery Nona was an amazing lawyer. He set realistic expectations, was open about communication (with the help of his lovely assistant, Lisa) and flexible with my payments. He helped me with my drug/ paraphernalia charges.

I wasted thousands of dollars on this attorney. He knew he wasn't going to be able to do anything for my case from the beginning, yet he still gladly accepted my money and gave me false hope. I Wouldn't recommend him.

I appreciated Mr. Nona's forwardness and honesty when speaking to him about my case. He is very knowledgeable and direct. I net with several lawyers before hiring Nona and none were as straight up with me about my situation. He didn't just defend me but he also truly cared about me.

couldn't agree more. when you hire Nona, it feels more like he is working for the prosecution, not you the client. hardly returns calls and waits until last minute to get important aspects of your case done, if they get done at all. save yourself some money as you will have better luck with a public defender than Nona.
