Al will tell you what you want to hear, but then does not folloe up. In my opinion he is a real loser.

I was referred to Mr. Acquaviva from another attorney who didn’t practice in real estate law. All I can say is Mr. Acquaviva saved my house from foreclosure. In less than 3 months, he forced the bank to back off the foreclosure and give me a new start. He’s a great lawyer.

Mr acquaviva represented me recently and I would NOT recommend him. He took my money and came unprepared to my case in where he had to look up information on his phone that was against me. He didn’t fight for me and got me the maximum penalties despite the charge being a misdemeanor where other cases with the exact same charges had gotten leeway using a public defendant which is a fraction of the cost he charges. He lied to my face about what could be done and took the easy way out. I would not use him ever again.

I am an owner of 3 properties in Paterson and AL has represented me in all of my tenant evictions for the last 4 years. He charges me a great rate and we have been able to eliminate all the non-paying tenants. He files all the paperwork and goes to court. It’s a fairly quick process. He also represented a close family member in a criminal case and was able to work out an excellent plea and no jail time. We wouldn’t go to a different attorney.

He will take your money then have you wait months with no explanation or update about your case. Then if you finally do get to court with him, everything he told you was wrong and is changed to whatever the judge says. So basically he doesn't know anything until the judge makes a decision. He's a general lawyer who generally knows nothing and generally doesn't care.
