This woman is known for keeping families apart, not helping them find common ground. If you view your ex as the enemy and want to win no matter how the truth is twisted (at the expense of your childrens long term mental health) this is your girl. If you want to find a way to amicably get along with your ex, as it should be, and need a diplomat, use legal aide. This woman is about one thing and one thing only...money !

She is one of the worst lawyers in town. All she cares is about her own pocket!, she appeared at the trial, totally unprepared, her assistant knew more than her. lost the custody of my children as well as all the $$ and got her bill for over $150,000, Trust me, pay this some to your partner to be soon ex- better than this lawyer!

excellent support during a vulnerable time (Covid). She and her team communicated every step with me during a complicated divorce which required someone with high expertise and experience. Every detail followed up upon including clear, itemized billing. Highly recommended.

I used Me Battaglia for a small case. I have since referred her out countless times. Seems a lot of the negative reviews I have read come from the losing side. Should i need a lawyer, i would definitely call her even though i have lawyer friends. She is knowledgeable and gets the job done!

I dealt with two other lawyers and Maria’s the best. She was efficient and fair. She found a solution that led to a great agreement. Thanks to her and her staff for being awesome.

nightmare.. most of her negative post have been deleted ... She will take you for a long haul ride and its all about time and money and not to mention no compassion and will destroy families and rip them apart during the divorce. lies and fabricates stuff too.. beware..

I hate to sit around listening to her talk about things that have nothing to do with my case and be billed an obscene amount for it. I never know what's going on, I ask her to do something and it never happens. She get's paid, that's all that ever happens

Maria was my attorney and I WON my case. STILL it was the worst decision I have ever made. She is incredibly arrogant and stubborn. Her rate is expensive but at least you know that up front, what you don't know is that her life's goal is to make every hour of that day a billable hour and it often just doesn't add up. She's a politician first and a lawyer second. She very cozy with her lawyer friends and there is a lot of back scratching going on, just never in your interest! For her, there are two teams: the lawyers and the client and she is firmly on team lawyer. In all sincerity, if you have a straight-forward case and you can afford to spend a bit more, you could do worse than her BUT if it's anything complex and money is any concern at all, you could do much better. Sorry you're looking for a lawyer :/

Wonderful work performed by wonderful women, she was able to take my story and present it in clear way. I was in tears listening to her recount my story to the judge. She warned me of the difficulties and yet the outcome was better than she had told me

I have dealt with many lawyers and my experience with Maria was exceptional. My situational was extremely complicated. Her knowledge of law is amazing. Maria understood the situation immediately and found a solution that made sense for all parties involved. We discussed my file, agreed on a plan of action and it was done. I'm grateful to my corporate lawyer for the referral.

I'm an attorney that has referred numerous difficult files to Me. Battaglia. She has always impressed me with results. Imagine my surprise to see these poor undeserved ratings. Mme. Malandrucolo I took the time to look at your son's file and read the judgement in both Superior court and Appeal. I also saw the 50 pages of written arguments in Superior court, a costly and difficult thing for lawyers to do. You failed to mention that you and your son had no credibility in front of the court! How is this Me. Battaglia's fault? I will continue to forward my family files to her and her team.

I was fortunate enough to be referred to Me. Battaglia after two previous attorneys and thank goodness! She explained the details of the case, the strong points and the weaknesses. She was right on on every point. Yes, her hourly rate is high but you pay for what you get and she is worth it. Her billing was right on. She accepted monthly payments and I'm grateful!

This lawyer knows her law. have used her many times. Thanks to her team always well prepared. unhappy clients are often control freaks and understand nothing about the law. She can't control the outcome of a judgement but she can stop the bleeding.

Mon nom est Mme Malandruccolo, cette avocate a représentée mon fils pour son divorce... dire que Me Battaglia a été une avocate inefficace incapable impréparé durant les procédures en cour serait le moindre des mots. Cette avocate a eu en main le dossier de mon fils durant 2 ans et elle ne le connaissait pas .....elle nous a aussi menti sur la présentation d'un document qui a scellée l'issu du procès . le document présenté en cour a été vu et revu par son assistante pour plus de 6 heures ( heures facturées).Les honoraires factures ont été + de 185....en plus elle a été incapable de négocier le montant finaux de séparations mon fils a du négocier avec la partie adverse .Après avoir payé 82K elle a forcé mon fils a signer un mandat a l'effet qu'elle retiendrait l'argent du règlement pour se payer. .La pire avocate qui m'a été donne de rencontre on a tout fait pour négocier avec elle mais comme cette avocate est sans scrupule et sans compas moral et comparable au Shylock.

I have never felt such relief after leaving my initial consultation with Maitre Battaglia! Not only was she compassionate, efficient and super smart, but I left her office feeling like I had a warrior on my side! Don't let those baby blue eyes fool you! She's a tiger!

I worked with her for 2 years.Every negative comment about her and her firm is 100% correct. She never returns calls, she does not become familiar with the file, it is her juniors that do all the work, and she thinks by pulling BS in the court she can get away with everything. She submitted a motion with a wrong title to the court, at the trial, the judge had to bring it to her attention of her mistake, which cost me extra stress and delay and $$$. she over charges, but at least if she would have had done the job properly,one wouldn't mind. even if she doesn't know the laws, one would assume, she would call other lawyers for help and input. she has a big ego for nothing. Karma is a ****, and I wish her the same amount of stress and damages that she caused me and my children, by dragging the file in order to pay herself and her office! Save yourself the extra stress, read through the comments of the past clients! I did not believe what people said about her, BUT IT WAS ALL TRUE

I had a very complicated case and I feel that Maitre Battaglia did her best with my case. Looking back now,I feel that she could have defended me better in court from personal attacks.Overall I think she is a good lawyer.

Charges too much .. I understand money is important. But it should not be the main point between client and lawyer .. When we are talking about family and kids there should be a human element to the whole issue .. Not just billing and billing and billing.

She is a great lawyer and I believe that anyone giving her a poor rating is probably a pissed ex or a hater of lawyers if you are and you are reading this STOP its a wimpy thing to do so be a man or women and if you have a complaint say it to battaglia's face. She is overall a great lawyer, she communicates well, she knows a lot and she gets thing done. Thank you, cheers.

she was able to get what we wanted after 3 other lawyers that failed she is a fighter and hasn't got her tongue in her pocket,she is very knowlegable and knows all the ins and out of the business my congratulations to her and her team.

My experience was very bad. We were in court 4 days, judge kept telling her "I don't understand were you are going." It cost me a fortune and was very unhappy with outcome. My advice, take $50,000 and place it in a education fund for your kids and go to Mediation via the court system. It is free and you can't do worse than I did with this lawyer, plus your kids will be all set for school and you will have paid less than this lawyer would have charged you. My guess is the 5 ratings you see here are all by the lawyer or family and friends... I have yet to meat an ex-client of hers that did not pay a fortune and did not hear the judge say "Please get back on track." to her. I agree with an earlier poster that she is basically a school ground bully... and not very effective at that.

She fair and up front with her fee's. We used Maria's services for my sister who was going through a very difficult divorce. She won the case and got my sister more than she expected. She is great in court! If you want a great lawyer you have to pay the price.
