Great attorney helped me with my criminal charges and got me plea offer close to what I was wanting. My case went on for a few years but thankfully just got it resolved due to her speaking with the DA. Great criminal attorney.

Deborah is the perfect attorney if you want someone with a heart and compassion. She fought for our rights as grandparents when it seemed hopeless her staff was amazing and encouraging to our family. They always were nice and understanding answering all of our questions. I would highly recommend Ms. Koenig.

I have been a client for several years. This law firm use to be one of the ones that I could turn to no matter what my family was going through. The staff in there now is a complete joke and doesn't care about the cases like her past paralegal did. It must be because it isn't their families on the line although that didn't matter before. Koenig has lost her mind and just seems to not care anymore. Will not be going back.

She's extremely arrogant and a thief. If this monster wasn't an attorney, she'd be a convicted felon serving time, which may be just around the corner for her.

Run from this attorney. She is rude and disrespectful. After paying her $2500 and contracting yes entering into a legal document for her to obtain my grandparents rights, she would no longer communicate with me or return phone calls after she was paid in full. She did not abide by our contract and I have not gotten grandparents rights which is the only thing I hired her for. Numerous messages left. In court, she allowed numerous false allegations to be made in court by social workers who were subsequently removed from the case and Ms. Koenig simply stated the allegations are false. Ive worked as a social worker 20 years and had to endure Ms Koenig while enduring lies from CCDSS social workers who were fired from the case. Filing complaint against her. Also, when I began writing letters to various organizations and the court, personnel inside court room became upset that someone who has worked in this system wrote intelligent letters of what transpired. She sucks. Her staff has an extremely high turnover rate. She's too friendly with the other attorneys, especially when your money & livelihood is involved.

Terrible service across the board. Mrs. Koenigs knowledge was actually okay, she just lacked the understanding to execute it. The interaction and consultation with her or her staff was dodgy, unless you were willing to pay another hourly fee and the office turnover was ridiculous, as there were at least 2 'new' people working there in the short time that she was 'retained' by me. There were countless times that I called her office where the phone continued to ring and if you send them an email, it takes weeks for them to respond to the most basic question or concern. PLEASE, do your homework before 'gifting' Ms. Koenig your money.

I would've been better off representing myself. Terrible communication. Only thing that I received in the mail was bills from them. Everything else, I was required & expected to go to the office to pick up. I've always heard that attorneys were liars & Koenig did nothing to contrary to that saying. Wouldn't recommend her to represent my big toe.

BEST ATTORNEY I HAVE EVER WORKED WITH. GUILTY CLIENTS DO NOT LIKE DEBORAH BUT THE INNOCENT UNDERDOGS, WE KNOW DEBORAH KOENIG WILL FIGHT TOOTH AND NAIL FOR. HUSTLERS LIKE SOME POSTING ON HERE HAD BAD EXPERIENCES BECAUSE THE WERE GUILTY HUSTLERS. DEBORAH DOES NOT DEFEND THAT TYPE WELL, FOR GOOD REASONS.

This attorney took a very emotional situation for me and turned it into a very wonderful experience. She soothed all of my fears and won hands down....she is the very best at what she does and I could not have gotten through this without her and her staff...job well done

The worst experience ever! Communication was poor, Mrs. Koenig was rude to me if I ever questioned matters pertaining to my case. I was charged for things that never existed, ie phone calls and e-mails. I was forced to take a lesser amount in child support because this law firm was taking way too long to act on my behalf.

This is the best damn attorney I have ever dealt with...her knowledge is unbelievable and her guidance through a difficult situation was way and above the call of duty....she made sure that everything, legally, I was entitled to..I RECEIVED....the best lawyer in North Carolina...I would recommend her to any one who has any issue...staff is awesome
