It took me years & I paid her app. $75,000 & there were no minor children nor alimony involved. She called our joint annuity retirement account my ex's retirement so the judge awarded me none of it. I had to do my own Quadro for a 401K because she screwed it up even though I got her a no-brainer fill in the blanks template from 3M company. Represented myself in a breach of contract suit she brought against me & I won. 2nd attorney felt she should be brought before the bar and sued for malpractice but by the end I was tired and broke. She refused to file contempt charges against my ex for not complying with court orders aiding my ex in his attempts to destroy me. She's now @ Wolf, Rohr, Gemberling, & Allen P.A. http://www.mnfamilylaw.com/about/lind... RID: 159504
Click to report rating    3/16/13   1     1     1     1     1   I had a very similar experience to the 1/14 rev. Reminded her several times to do something, charged for each reminder, never did it. Sent SEVERAL financial doc's to present to ex's lawyer, never forwarded for 5 months, and this lawyer asked for it again, claiming she never received it. Not proactive, gives into ex's demands, showed little care for my needs, told me it was NOT important to enforce time with my child, poor response time, seemed to give up on me, showed no action plan, the list goes on. Avoid this firm! "Father's Rights" is a marketing gimmick. RID: 104987
Click to report rating    1/14/13   1     1     1     1     1   I paid almost 10k to have her attend only 2 mediations, i was not informed that the second mediation had been postponed, she rarely returned my phone calls or emails. She did not look out for my best interests and did not bring up things that should have been best for me and my kids. Does not know how Active Appreciation applies to marital and non marital property. The final mediation, she offered up everything I had including my 401k that I had before i married while she refused to pursue my wifes company that was given to her while we were married, but i was offered to be able to keep my car that i had since I was 17. Very very poor communication with me. Lots of excuses though. Could not offer any advice to me while i was in the process of this divorce even when i asked for advice. But when she sent something in a legal term that i did not understand, she would charge me when i would call to ask what i was reading... Much more... Running out of space. I recommend passing this one by RID: 98389
